Wow. I didn't know that. Brown rice. Never thought of blending rice. Thanks for the recipe, Maria. Can I use coconut water instead of apple juice? I think yogurt isn't necessary since the stomach may not be able to handle dairy, in that condition. Plus, the rest of it seems pretty delicious already.

Here is another great lenten smoothie
If you are allergic to turmeric (curcumin) avoid that ingredient.

  • ACTION, Blend:
    1 cup green mint tea
    2 kiwis
    1 apple
    1 avocado
    1 tsp local bee pollen
    1 tbsp raw honey
    1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tbsps of fresh lemon juice
    Enjoy!
    Note: Use organic ingredients.
Drink during allergy season or when under the weather
Start slowly on the bee pollen and increase to 2 tbsps after 1 week. - As always: Consult your health practitioner and use with caution

Since we are in the middle of Great Lent, with only a few more weeks to go,
I thought I should bump this great thread.

Does anyone else have any great recipes to share?
