Wow. I didn't know that. Brown rice. Never thought of blending rice. Thanks for the recipe, Maria. Can I use coconut water instead of apple juice? I think yogurt isn't necessary since the stomach may not be able to handle dairy, in that condition. Plus, the rest of it seems pretty delicious already.

Of course. I have also used purified water.

Here is another great lenten smoothie
If you are allergic to turmeric (curcumin) avoid that ingredient.
ACTION, Blend:
1 cup green mint tea
2 kiwis
1 apple
1 avocado
1 tsp local bee pollen
1 tbsp raw honey
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tbsps of fresh lemon juice
Enjoy!
Note: Use organic ingredients.
Drink during allergy season or when under the weather
Start slowly on the bee pollen and increase to 2 tbsps after 1 week. - As always: Consult your health practitioner and use with caution

Since we are in the middle of Great Lent, with only a few more weeks to go,
I thought I should bump this great thread.
