The funniest thing was when someone asked Fr. Peter (Heers) if Putin is the new Saint Constantine. He said it was “too early” to make such a pronouncement.

Anyway, I found a rare picture of the internet warrior who will be helping the Russian army and his trad cath friends retake Constantinople--just give him five more minutes.

Fr. Boniface in Florida told me the Haitians in Lakeland will have dogs strung up and grills ready for them...

Thankfully there is a Canon against Orthodox Christians eating dog. Because if there wasn't, I would probably ask the Haitians for a plate.

Are we reading the same Canon? I see it saying that while people don't normally eat dog or vulture, those who do so in distress have not sinned because it is not forbidden. Everybody hide your pooch from Sava...In reality the only guy I know who would eat someone's dog is not Haitian, he's Portuguese. But then I probably lost most of you at “guy I know who would eat someone's dog.”

I'd post something related but maybe let's do something more savoury. Eh--less savoury. No, more savoury. You know what I mean. Everything you need to know about the Secret History:

There was a pre-schism British Synod that forbade eating dog... Fr. Joseph and Vladyka Andrei when I asked them about eating dog both said "...why would you want to eat one?"

I probably did eat dog when I lived in Mexico. The Mayans in the south would eat anything. I ate fried armadillo and more than once had some "mystery meat" dishes.

Really? I might be doing a video on the "BASED Putin" myth.
