Sad but true.

There seemed to be a number of problems with the translation, but I'm curious if by this (the "throwing out," as differentiated from getting rid of it) it is meant that this bishop is instructing some to destroy their TV's? Just curious, if anyone knows.
I think he just means throw it away. Let the garbage man collect it and destroy it in his truck.
Well for anyone who cannot break their addiction to television and films, here is a good service to use in the meantime: http://www.cleanfilms.com/
Wow everyone sure gets fired up around here. I LIKE IT!!! All this talk of tv and religion has prompted me to pack away our little dear in the closet for the upcoming fast. My husband thinks I am nuts but we don't have cable anyway. All we watch is the occasional plastic surgery nightmare serbian music videos (satellite), serbian news, oh yea and BARNEY, THE WIGGLES, ELMO and anything else we have on VHS or DVD 10000 times per day.
I AM KIND OF LOOKING FORWARD TO 40 DAYS WITHOUT TV. WHO KNOWS MAYBE I'LL NEVER
BRING IT BACK. PRAY FOR US.
