Hey everyone...
When does the Nativity fast start?
What is allowed and what is not?
Does anybody know where I can get a traditional Orthodox Calendar?
Thanks and God bless!

It is my understanding that historically, the Orthodox Church did not require soldires (or those where it would pose a health risk) to fast.

They say that I am bad news. They say "Stay Away."
if you are on the Old Calander you start fasting November 28th on the civil Calander which amazingly this year is the day after Thanksgiving.
If you are on the New Calander, you shouls switch to the old ASAP.
