I realize that this is all "he said, she said," but from what I've gathered over the years, the Serbian Patriarchate was in communion with ROCOR until we networked our ties with the Catacomb Churches in Russia by establishing parishes in Russia. Serbia responded by breaking communion with ROCOR. Some of the ROCOR hierarchs secretly corresponded with Serbia, begging them to allow ROCOR to mend the situation in Russia by assisting them in establishing a dialogue with the MP. This would explain why, almost immediately after installing ruling bishops for Russia, certain ROCOR hierarchs began to sow chaos in the ecclesiastical life of the Free Russian Church.
One thing I find unconscionable is the fact that many party-liners in ROCOR now deny the existence of the Catacomb Church, yet they now embrace their persecutors as a "part" of the Russian Church.
I take schism and jurisdiction hopping very seriously, which is why I am still with ROCOR, but I refuse to be assimilated into World Orthodoxy. The day I hear Patriarch Alexis commemmorated at the Liturgy in my parish I will walk out of the temple and never return.
