When I click on it it seems fine.

Nevertheless, his point was that the Russians were very heavily armed, and, didn't ALL just turn over to the Red forces. He further brings out that if the occupants of Moscow had actually fought, including the 30,000 retired and active military officers, etc, in the city, instead of a few hundred cadets, then, they would never have taken Moscow. Of course, the communist assured all the officers in the city there would be no problems, then they later killed them.

What absolute treachery. I wonder how men like that can do such things and sleep at night. And to think that they were likely sensitive in conscience in their youth. This should convince us and warn us that the same things can happen here in our own country to us at the hands of our neighbours, and to beware. "Trust no one, Agent Mulder."

Who is Stanislav Mishin, Fr Augustine ?
Sounds like you keep up really well.
[Please post more often here ! We need your expertise ! ]

I wonder why the Pravda article went down. Hmmm...

What a story, though !
It makes me shudder because it sounds like the entire story everywhere of major deception
and people trusting too easily these nefarious robbers, the Bolsheviks. They stole Saints' relics
Church items -- and SOLD a lot of them to ArmandHammer type vultures.

I would like to read the whole article if it comes back available.

I think he's a Russian writer, of a nationalist, White-leaning (monarchist) variety. I don't know that much more. I first heard his article mentioned on the radio.

If people are interested in the clear connection between Wall Street/US government/British government, etc, bankers, western powers, support for the Soviet regime, they should do a google search on the works of Dr. Anthony Sutton. The Western elite continuously loaned the Soviet a massive amount of money during the entire farce known as the Cold War. The Western powers, if they had wanted to bring the Soviet empire down, could just have refused to fund it, make illegal the giving of any loans to it, etc. Dr. Sutton was able to demonstrate this (for example, the Gorky auto plant, which produced a massive amount of supplied for the NVA, but, was funded and given technical support by US gov and corporations).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_C._Sutton

Lenin, I believe, or some other communist leader, made the statement after their abandonment of total, or 'war' socialism' during the early 20s (in which they had abolished all money, prices, etc, resulting in the starvation of millions), that, the Soviet only cared to initially control the the 'controlling heights of industry'. Furthermore, they though the capitalists would sell the robe to hang them (i.e., the capitalists) with.

About Dr Anthony Sutton, he's GREAT !
He WAS great.
What a sad thing that he is not here to help analyze well in these times.

I always quote that too about the transfer of technology and money to Stalin.
Most everyone only cites of Anthony Sutton's work on Wall Street financing the Nazis.

I pay attention to the Russian part of his research.

This analyst is so rare ! I have studied his work for quite a long time, but
have never actually read his books. I mean to.

Update to this subject
Veterans Today article by an objective eyewitness.
If the whole thing is not useful, skip through, but it does say that Syrian Christians DO support the Assad regime.

The Oft-Predicted Fickle Syrian ‘Tipping Point’ Has Tipped

  • Damascus —

Syrian minorities, including Christians, Shi’a and Alawites, among others, cast with the regime because they are afraid of the Wahabist/ Salafist jihadi types and the breaking up of their country. One teenager who I asked why she supports the current regime explained that the Assad regime is doing their best and despite the rising prices that her parents chronically complain about she is grateful that, “despite all the rising prices the government has not allowed the cost of telephone service to increase so I can chat with my friends just like before!
    ...
This week’s US and European decisions to back Syria’s rebels with direct aid will only lead to more bloodshed and encourage “terrorism” in the war-torn country, according to two Sheiks from Syria’s largest tribe who held court recently during tea in the lobby of the Dama Rose Hotel here.
