St. John is a saint of the ROCOR synod. He believed in preserving the Orthodox faith in ROCOR, as many of us today do(those in ROCOR). He was not a "zealot", he was simply a true Orthodox Christian in faith, doxology, theology and life. People mis-use the word "zealot".

ROCOR follows the Julian calendar. And despite the sad examples of ROCOR bashing that I have read here, the Grace of God still descends on us(ROCOR) in Holy Communion. I would like to see Kollyvas or Nathaniel prove otherwise.

I think it was very bad conduct, on Nathaniel's part to refer to ROCOR as the "w" word.

I hope, Russian Pole, that you do not get scandalized by such spiritually filthy posts.

also taught:

"Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us."

There are Saints in ROCOR and there are Saints in the MP.

Those who are not against us are with us no matter where they are.
Those who do not gather but scatter are not with us, no matter where they appear to be.
