I don't believe that Archbishop Lazar was ever part of HOCNA. He was defrocked from ROCOR, spent some time with the "free Serbs" and some other Ukrainian splinter groups. Now we at the OCA are proud to call him our own.

I am reading Fr. Seraphim Rose's book on the Toll Houses now -- scary stuff.

Makes you aware that you have to live carefully every hour of the day, because if you are called and have not confessed your sins, then you may be in some seriuos jeapordy.
