There's one point here with which I don't agree, but this young man, Alexander Poe, is making a strong, well-reasoned case to wake up Vatican II slumberers.

The very thought of John Paul II having been canonized is just appalling, same with John XXIII etc.
Where Alexander Poe talks about what a canonized Saint should be, for some reason, fr seraphim rose immediately sprung to mind. While opposite from modernist Popes, fr seraphim rose was a tiny bit analogous in this sense : the spirit of the person is COMPLETELY unsuitable for glorification in the Orthodox Church

i can get the article, but it was exposed that John Paul II actually wore SHORTS and allowed himself to be photographed on vacation hiking ! Outrageous !!!
He also had some relationship that was not quite clear exactly what the nature of it was, with a woman.
Neither of these were in good Papal taste...
