WELL STATED
"Anyone who thinks Iran will hand Donald Trump a deal he can brag about is living in fantasy.
Trump killed Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, General Qassem Soleimani and a long list of Iran’s senior leaders.
Tehran is not going to decorate him with a diplomatic victory after that.
Iran may negotiate when it serves its interests. But it will not reward Trump. It will not give him a trophy. And it will not sign anything he can sell it as a win.
If Trump is furious about Iran’s leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, then Tehran has even less reason to give it up.
That card is one of Iran’s strongest, and it will not hand it to him just to calm his anger.
On the contrary, Trump can stay angry until the end of his term.
Iran is not in the business of rescuing his ego."

Re: Iran commentary by top observers
"Trump has two paths ahead:
Come to Tehran and accept defeat. Apologize. [great idea in principle, BUT sociopaths NEVER apologize for even the tiniest infringements on other people's rights]
Tell the Arabs to pay $270 billion in reparations for the war.
Lift sanctions on Iran.
Begin a new start.
*
Prepare for a global economic crisis.
Oil will rise to $200.
Famine will strike Europe.
Major economies will collapse.
Trump's party will lose the election in November.
And in January 2027, Congress will impeach Trump.
It will humiliate him and throw him out."

I like the classical music playing during part of this clip : it makes the incredible scene even more dramatic
No subtitles ; however, one can imagine what they are saying in Farsi
"Iran has released footage of the operation carried out during the war in the plains of Mahyar, Isfahan, where the Yankees allegedly attempted to seize Iranian uranium but were forced to flee like rats suffering an extremely heavy cost."
https://x.com/IRAN_INFO24/status/2054065097165951279
Comment from an American : trying to capture the Iranian uranium is "an idiotic goal" - but then, the West only plans short term and has the attention span of a gnat.
I am adding this so that readers realize how stupid the idea was from the start, rather than being mesmerized by the hysteria about Iran's "dangerous" uranium drummed in by the regular news.

"During the war, Iran dedicated a missile to the suffering of Jesus Christ, Son of the Holy Mary.
“In hope for the day he returns”.
These guys are suppose to be my enemy ?"

"Pope Leo XIV just declared the Iran War unjust.
Called it a war crime.
Said it is “not solving anything.”
Then told Americans directly: call Congress. End this war.
The same Pope Trump called weak on crime.
The same Pope Trump fabricated a nuclear quote from.
The same Pope whose brother received a bomb threat after Trump attacked him.
The same Pope Speaker Johnson lectured on theology.
1.4 billion Catholics heard their leader call this war a crime"

Re: Iran commentary by top observers
Other people like Trita Parsi wrote about this too, but were not as clear as this analysis from a BRICS-related account.
By the way, the account neglected to mention that Ahmadinejad appeared at a cemetery visit not long after the purported incident, to the relief of very many people around the world that he had survived.
Second problem with this account and the remarks of countless uninformed people is that Ahmadinejad clarified many times to the Western media what he had ACTUALLY STATED.
The Iranian President and former mayor of Teheran said "to wipe Is not real from the pages of history" - like, perhaps, a bad memory.
But of course the Western world went crazy, claiming he had threatened the very existence of that nightmarish rogue state
Today, MANY alert people are applauding the idea of the erasure of is not real in reality !
So it was hardly a radical statement for Ahmadinejad to have made at THAT time, but was conveniently twisted into a barrage of shrill anti-Iran propaganda.
Third, no one has mentioned that maybe God is on the side of Ahmadinejad for speaking out bravely all his life -- and saved him !
Fourth, as soon as Ahmadinejad took office, the American medi a churned out blatantly false stories of how he had been one of the students taking over the US Embassy in Teheran.
IN FACT the truth was quite different. Ahmadinejad had vetoed this idea from other political minded students. He wanted to take over the Soviet Embassy instead ! One can see that he placed anti-Communism over anti-Zionism, at least at that time, in 1979.
When American news anchors asked him about the US/European pet Iranian woman sob story of the day, Ahmadnejad swiftly pulled out of his pocket a picture of a Muslim woman who had been treated terribly by the German authorities.
"What about HER ?" he asked
The newswoman would sit quietly in shock, not prepared for any kind of challenge to the all-dominant Western mantras about supposedly oppressed Iranian women.
Last point is that Ahmadinejad was called a hard-liner. The people in power today are likely MORE MODERATE than he would be !
So why would this IMAGINARY PLAN of is not real's be of benefit them in ANY way ?!
I think the NYT article was concocted hastily to cover up before the news got farther out to the world of the cold-blooded attempt to get rid of their old adversary.
The US and is not real should give up ENTIRELY on the concept of change of govt in Iran. It won't happen now OR later.
"Israeli strike to "free" Ahmadinejad and install him as Iran's leader?"
The New York Times just published the most ridiculous propaganda of the war.
Read that headline again. Slowly.
The New York Times dropped this gem on May 19, 2026. Citing "U.S. officials," they claim Israel designed a strike to free Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from house arrest in Tehran — and put him in power as part of a regime change plan .
Let me translate that for you: the guy who chanted "wipe Israel off the map," called the Holocaust a myth, and spent eight years as America's favorite villain — yeah, that guy — was supposedly Israel's secret pick to run Iran.
And they were going to install him. With a missile.
Here's what actually happened. On February 28, 2026, when the US-Israeli strikes began, multiple outlets reported Ahmadinejad was killed. He was reportedly under house arrest at the time.
The Times now says he wasn't killed. He was "injured" — but "survived." Then he became "disillusioned" with the plan.
And now his whereabouts are "unknown."
Do you see what they're doing?
They're retrofitting a failed assassination into a regime change fairy tale. Because "we tried to kill a former Iranian president and failed" is embarrassing. But "we tried to rescue him and install him as a puppet" — that's a story. That's a movie.
Here's the problem with their story.
Ahmadinejad...was the guy who made the West's blood boil for eight years. The idea that Tel Aviv and Washington suddenly decided he was their guy — after decades of hating him — is laughable on its face."

Re: Iran commentary by top observers
Even Iranian or part-Iranian accounts who strongly support the Islamic Republic fell for this shocking hoax ! Such as Ryan Rozbiani.
A comment from his post reminded me that i had seen a number of examples of Ahmadinejad doing occasional interviews with Westerners.
In fact, he had been scheduled to appear on one program around the time of the attack, or soon after.
"Anyone believing it is an idiot
This so called news is fake for the following reasons
1-Ahmadinejad was never under house arrest he did interviews online with foreigners
2-ahmadinejad did speeches inside Iran
[See eye aye] thinks they can divide Iranians"

A Mohammad Shabani wrote, which does not ring fully true, but just for the argument :
"Early in the war, rumors emerged that Ahmadinejad's home had been bombed. Upon inquiring about it with usually well informed sources, was told at the time that the house was fine and a site two doors away had been hit.
Israel has thoroughly penetrated Iran and killed the country's previous political and military leadership at heavily fortified compounds with ease. If the aim of bombing Ahmadinejad's alley was a "jailbreak" for a purportedly envisioned Delcy of Iran, the idea that Mossad was unable or unwilling to send any assets on the ground to neutralize a handful of IRGC officers boggles the mind.
Feels like both Israelis and Iranians are having fun with US media to attempt to stir division and take out rivals respectively."

Dr Marandi wrote, surprisingly,
"I wasn’t a fan of Mr. Ahmadinejad during his first term, and my aversion only grew during his second.
But why would the New York Times now publish a claim branding him an alleged traitor to his own country?
Why would the criminal Trump regime reveal its supposed assets in the first place?
What’s the real agenda here?
Even if the story were true, it reflects a staggering misunderstanding of Iran - its powerful state institutions, its sophisticated civil society - and a deeply orientalist lens through which [the Islamic Republic of Iran's] law and constitution are treated as irrelevant."
2 of the 4 NYT reporters who wrote the offending article were categorized as :
"Farnaz Fassihi is not a journalist.
Rather, she's a gossip columnist whose [garbage] isn't worth publishing in a checkout-counter tabloid.
The same goes for Karim Sadjadpour et al"
The 3rd was excoriated thus
"You should know that anything with that zio terror supporter Ronen Bergman’s name on it is 100% mossad propaganda."
