"The U.S. government made a deal with ISIS to smuggle $2.5 BILLION worth of gold out of Iraq and Syria.

ISIS gave the U.S. military over 88,000 pounds of gold and in exchange they were flown to “training camps” run by U.S. Special Operations."

"A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts, per NYT.

In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention.[the only way to appeal to a malignant narcissist]

Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions.
They were lifted.

The contracts are moving, and the Trump family’s deals are expanding"

That is the tomb of Khalid ibn Walid's son Abdur Rahman next to his [see bottom of the post picture].
This Arab general is NOT popular among all people !
I went to see his tomb out of dislike rather than the opposite

"Khalid ibn al-Walid (632–638 AD) was a pivotal military commander who led the early Islamic conquests, expanding the Caliphate through victories in Arabia, Iraq (Mesopotamia), and Syria.

His key conquests included the fall of Al-Hirah, key cities in Iraq, Damascus (634), the Levant after the Battle of Yarmouk (636), and several battles against the Sassanid Persians and Byzantine Empire"

It's noteworthy that Khalid ibn Walid participated in the treaty with the Christians of Jerusalem, granting them protection :

"While Amr ibn al-Aas was the commander of the army blockading the city, and Abu Ubaida was supreme commander of the Syrian front, Khalid ibn al-Walid was among the key, senior military leaders who received Caliph Umar at al-Jabiya and accompanied him to Jerusalem.

The covenant, which provided safety to the Christians of Jerusalem, was witnessed by prominent companions, including Khalid ibn al-Walid, Amr ibn al-Aas, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, and Mu'awiya.

While Khalid had been removed from the overall supreme command of the army by Umar just prior to this, he remained a vital lieutenant under Abu Ubaida and continued to serve in major campaigns in Syria and Palestine during 637–638, including the events surrounding the surrender of Jerusalem"

The Caliph Omar, who disliked Khalid, had retired him from supreme commander of the Arabic forces in Syria in 638 for unclear reasons, but thought to be because of Khalid's having killed a commander, Malik ibn Nuwayrah, during the Ridda Wars, and subsequently married his wife, Layla bint al-Minhal (also known as Umm Tamim) without waiting for the required time to elapse.

The apparent excuse for the execution of ibn Nuwayrah was that he was an apostate and had failed to give alms, which charges sound possibly trumped up.

After that the Caliph sent Khalid to live in Homs, where he died of natural causes, to his great chagrin, in 642 AD.

For Khalid had strongly wished to meet his end on the battlefield. But after 100 battles with never one loss, this desire of the commander called "the Sword of Allah" was never fulfilled.

The "Saif Allah" title was given Khalid by the Prophet Mohammad due to his role in the Battle of Mu'tah against the Byzantines in 629 AD.
