I'm missing what's convenient about it. It seems more related to the continued bombardment of Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria.

Current status:
Galant(sp?) reported dead. Unconfirmed but he's not at Bibi's speech. Israeli sources are quoting him, or so they claim.
Iran claims 22x F-35 destroyed along with their base. Unconfirmed but lots of missiles landing on what appear to be bases.
Israeli off-shore gas facilities burning.
Mossad HQ allegedly destroyed.
At least 1 Jordanian killed and multiple wounded because their government prefers allowing missile interceptions over their own cities to letting them land on Israeli military installations.
Israel claims to have shot down everything but many videos show otherwise. Iran claims 90% success, which is reasonable given the video evidence.
US reportedly told Israel that there will be an attack in "12-24 hours" and it came a couple of minutes later.
Bibi tried to downplay the attack in his announcement a little earlier. (And he was shaking.) Israel claims it will announce a response later tonight.
Refugee camps in Lebanon under attack?
Unlike last time this was a strike with fast missiles and not the slow-moving drones which gave plenty of warning last time. There was only one wave.
There was a mass shooting by two Palestinians who must have been in the know and also an attempted attack by perhaps 60 or so fighters on Isreali positions.

These strikes are being reported by "Axis of Resistance" sources as "hypersonic," a common claim these days and probably a bit of an exaggeration. (ALL sufficiently long-range ballistic missiles are hypersonic because that is how they work and it has been that way for over half a century. The new technology properly called "hypersonic" refers to missiles which can cruise through the atmosphere at such speed, rather than those which fall down at hypersonic speed from outside the atmosphere.)

This brings us to the matter of (false) prophecy.

I've been hearing a number of claims over the past 2 1/2 years of how Russia will supposedly destroy the degenerate West and take Jerusalem. (There is also the prophecy of St. Kosmas regarding Constantinople, usually integrated into it.)

However from what I remember the actual Orthodox saints rather than WO new elders saying it was something like that the Russians would be defeated in their war with the Western powers fighting on the side of the Jews. Something like that. I'm trying to remember but I think that was one of the Russian New Martyrs.

Perhaps this turns into a big war. God knows, and His will be done.

Exactly. Muhammad is also an antichrist who did exactly that. The final antichrist, however, is worse.

There was a rumour I read earlier about Bibi being prophesied to by the previous head rabbi of Israel that he will be the last prime minister and will hand over the keys to the "messiah." It could just be propaganda from our friends the Eurasian Century--I did not bother to try and verify. It could, however, explain his recent behaviour if it is true.

The state of Israel is in some very explicit sense an attempt to create the kingdom of antichrist. Doesn't mean everyone there is thinking like that but it is concerning.

There's so much apocalyptic false prophecy going around these days, it's just crazy. Remind me to tell of Siener van Rensburg and the right wingers some day if you want our version. There have been other cases in history but I do think Fr. Seraphim Rose is right. It is later than you think.

I just saw little snippets of the missiles sailing thru the air.
But if the Mossad headquarters is destroyed, the entire WORLD can breathe a sigh of relief.

As far as Is not real an anti-Christ creation, isn't that obvious ? Even former President Nixon wrote in his book The Real War that this "state" was deliberately created to put a thorn in the side of the Arab world.
Doesn't that say it all, from a secular standpoint ?

After a lot of jeering from some Sunni Muslims that Iran would launch a few tepid go-nowhere attacks like previously, Iran came through !
In the earlier attacks, Iran conscientiously notified the US well before launching the attack. But this time, I see from the remarks of everybody that it was only a minute or two !

So, Iran said that this set of missiles had destroyed 22 F-35's ? I guess that's a fighter plane.
Plus the base on which they were stationed ? I'll be interested to hear when that's confirmed !
