The Last Roman Pope in History is Next?

Post by Matthew »

The Prophecy of "Saint Malachy" a 12th Century Irish bishop upon seeing Rome from a distance on one of his pilgrimages fell into a trance and his companions wrote his utterances, the now famous "prophecy of the popes" from his own times until "The End". Popes JP 1 and 2 and Papa Ratzi have already fulfilled the last previous verses in a startling way. Now all that remain are these last verses which say,

Petrus Romanus, qui paſcet oues in multis tribulationibus: quibus tranſactis ciuitas ſepticollis diruetur, & Iudex tremẽdus iudicabit populum ſuum. Finis.

Which is translated:

Peter the Roman, who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end.

What is startling is that of the 112 popes in the prophecy none are named directly. Second, no pope in history has ever taken the name Peter upon himself. There has never been a "Peter the Second." This may be some unwritten rule that they do not take that name out of respect for the Apostle Peter. However this pope will. Hence, the Historic Apostolic Church of Rome begins with Peter, and Ends with a Peter and no others in between.

This has been noted also about the recent announcement of Benedict to retire and make way for the Last Pope. (on which day lightning struck the Vatican's St Peter's Basilica see BBC News site story here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-21421810).

The 16th card of the Tarot seen below, showing lightning striking the tower, marking the overthrow of Babel or Babylon, and the crown comes off the top of the tower. Benedict carries 16 behind his name, and lightning strikes St. Peter’s Basilica (16 letters) after his resignation. Oddly enough, the 16th chapter of Revelation talks about the fall of Babylon and the outpouring of the 7 last plagues. “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in rememberance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” Revelation 16:19

WOW ! Is all I can say at the moment.

Of course I have heard references to the St Malachy prophecy about the Popes ending. But this explanation
is really something.

I see now why someone captioned their post yesterday "Peter the Roman?" -
I didn't understand the allusion.

Hmm, let's think about this all !

How can we take seriously a prophecy of an Irish heretic monk? Why not than such apparition and so on?

I have explained multiple times in this forum (and in others) over the years now, that Rome is not the Great Whore of the Apocalypse. So if one begins with a false premise, it is likely that the rest of their interpretations will also be misguided.

Nevertheless, there are certain dark powers who might wish to deceive people into believing that New York or Rome was or will be destroyed in fulfillment of the prophecies in chapters 16-18 of the Apocalypse. In like manner, these dark powers wish to make people think a chip is the mark of the Antichrist, in order to disarm the people when the real mark of the Antichrist is presented afterwards. People will more readily accept the actual seal of the Antichrist, once they have deceived themselves in their pride by thinking that they have been clever in refusing the chip.

Satan and his minions have a vested interest in deceiving people and making them think that a city like New York or Rome with a "tower" that is destroyed means that Babylon "is fallen". That is so when the actual tower of Babylon is built, people will not suspect it to be so, because they believe the prophecy has already found its fulfillment.

Prophecies can be self-fulfilling. There are principalities and powers, secret rulers of darkness, who have a vested interest in seeing Rome burn, so they can deceive people into thinking Rome is the Great Whore of the Apocalypse, who has been judged by God. Once people see Rome fall, then they will be disarmed and no longer looking for any other tower of Babel. Rest assured, there is another tower of Babylon, the real one, which is fully manifested afterwards.

In a similar fashion, we should not be looking for merely one false christ. The devil is clever, and knows full well that he can bring forth one antichrist, who seals many with a chip, only to send a second false christ pretending to be the true christ, destroying his first. Many people could be deceived and think they avoided the first false christ and his computer chip, and not be on guard because of their pride, only to fall into the net cast by the devil, who will use a second false christ to trap those who thought they were clever and avoided his first. The people will gladly receive the second false christ, and his seal, after they see the first destroyed.

"And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?"

Interesting perspective.

We must always be on our guard as "the devil goes about the world like a lion seeking whom he may devour. Resist him firm in the faith."

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Good Poing, Jean-Serge. Here's my take on that question:

Very simply because the powers that be in the Vatican, the major decision makers and their buddies the illuminst and cabbalist Globalists of the world, either use or believe such prophecies in the planning and executing of their plans and schemes to end the "Old Age" of Byzantine Empire Christian Culture and the building of a "NEW AGE" of Humanist ideals where Man is God ( where the ultimate manifestation is in Antichrist). They believe it and so knowing such things can greatly inform us of how they are likely, God permitting, to proceed.
