Y have notice that Saint Ignatius was pesimistic about monastic life of his time. Can somebody compare that times with now.We have see that monasteries and monastic life still exsist.Y am thinking about TOC monasteries. Not monasteries of world orthodoxsy churces. And all of monks are living ascetic life.Maybe there is not people who are Saints but...They are have good will for salvation their souls in that sort of life.Whats atitude of other members of this forum abot this topic?
