What you tell me is hearsay evidence. I am an ACTUAL witness. I have been to Dormition Skete three times between 1993-2006. He is an excellent Father-confessor. He doesn't rush, he is patient and loving and understanding. I felt comfortable confessing to him. And have corresponded with them for years. Vladika-Gregory does not do those kinds of things you mentioned. He is not that kind of person. Untill and unless you can produce primary (first-hand) eye witness source material, I will have to relegate your claim to the Orthodox gossup/junk bin. Sorry.

Euthymios, Juvenaly has been to Dormition Skete more than you have, and is reporting based on his own personal experiences of living among the monks and receiving the Mysteries there on a regular basis. You may wish to rescind your comments calling his first-hand experience as hearsay and gossip.

Obviously Juvanaly did not feel it necessary to speak of his own peronal "bad" experiences with Vlaidka, or he would not have referred to "those" (plural) other people.

I have been baptized by Vladika Gregory. I have known him since 1993. He has been nothing but kind and friendly toward me, even when I turned against his positions. He has always welcomed me back with loving and open arms. One time when I was having a struggle, he helped me, kissed my forehead and walked out of the room. He is the kind of genuine spiritual father everyone is looking for. He is the kindest priest I have ever known. and I really don't care what people (who have never even met him in person) have to say. I know the truth.

Oh and by the way I have spent an accumulative time period with them in their monastery of almost six months, and known them for fourteen years.

My Dear Euthimios,

I used the plural "we" because I was not the only one to have dealt with things like this. It is not at all hearsay if these are my experiences.

I am not going to fight with you on this stuff because there is no point in this. You see things your way according ot your experiences and there are countless other who, like you, have lived in CO, been to the Monastery, attended services, gone to Confession to Gregory and in the end came out with a totally different story than yours.

What did he do? Did he not let you have your way and spoil you like American's are accustomed to? I can't really address your claim until and unless you give me a specific example.
