No but the MP was created by them and controlled by them.

Have you not been paying attention to the sovietation of Russia under the leader who says, "There is no such thing as an EX-KGB agent"?

The Church of Russia is in the Catacombs mostly and very persecuted still to this day.

Right, and as such it was in communion with the Catacomb Churches until 1995.
ROCOR-Lavr has fallen under its own anathema of 1983 by willingly seeking Communion with Ecumenists.
Look the Patriarchate of Antioch has entered into full union with the monophysites and what how has Moscow reacted? By breaking Communion with them?
According to the formly ROCOR mission in the Isle of White (now under Met Kyprian) the MP has actually INCREASED its involvement with ecumenism since it made what was an essentially political annoucement (given their actions how can we believe otherwise?) for the benefit of ROCOR and to calm dissension in its own ranks.
Putin has said that he wants the MP to sort things out with the Pope of Rome....Could anyone in 1999 have imagined the situation today who didnt have access to what was going on behind the scenes? With ROCOR who acted as the conscience of the "Orthodox world" out of the way the road is now clear for the apostasy to go a stage further.
