Well. It seem Bartholomew prays a "molyeben" with the Papist in Mexico before the "Guadalupskaya Icona". It is interesting...

The Virgin de Guadalupe is the Patron Saint of Mexico. Mexicans are Roman Catholic, but Mexico is losing many faithful to Protestant groups who are coming with money and helping the uneducated poor, and converting them. That is why there was an urgent need for Pope John Paul to make about 3 or 4 pilgrimages to Mexico and could be the reason the Virgin de Guadalupe was made a Saint.
Although there many Mexicans believe the Virgin did appear as browned skinned ( same as Mexican peasants ) at Guadalupe , and there are others who don't believe and say it was a ploy by the Spaniards to convert the Mexican Indians who were superstitious from paganism to Roman Catholicism. I saw one time a program in T.V. where an expert on restorations of painting concluded that the image in the peasants robe was not authentic, but a painting.
The apparition of brown skinned Virgin was not similar to previous traditionally appearances of the Virgin
This is an interesting article about the Marian apparitions.

Well the text says : "La Rogativa a la Madre de Dios, en la Catedral Católica de la Virgen de Guadalupe "which could mean the Supplication to the Mother of God in the Catholic cathedral of Guadalaupe". Rogar means to supplicate
So it may suggest they prayed or didi something like this. Indeed I can see a whole choir who came from Greece... So, I think it was really something like a Moleben and surely a prayer
Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.
I correct myself in my earlier message. It was Juan Diego (the Indian Peasant) who was made a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church not too long ago, because Mexican Tradition says that He saw the apparition of the Virgin at Guadalupe. There was a dispute in Mexico whether Juan Diego was worthy to be made a Saint, because some doubt that he say the apparition. I suppose Roman Church officials believe by making Juan Diego a Saint, it will re vitalize the Peasants (many of the peasants are leaving the Roman Catholic Church to Protestantism) to stay faithful the Roman Church.
