i get the feeling its more complicated than that, since ROCOR was already in communion with Serbia and i think Jerusalem, but yet they weren't in communion with the OCA, Antioch, Alexandria, etc etc.

If this matter has nothing to do with the OCA, then why are they talking to them? The writing's on the wall. For all practical purposes, ROCOR is World Orthodox. They have abandonned the opposition to ecumenism in which they struggled side by side with the Old Calendarists for so many years. Their views on participation in the WCC now match those that the World Orthodox have held for decades. Why did ROCOR alienate their Old Calendarist brethren? Has their faith changed or has ROCOR's?

They have disgraced St. Philaret. They are usurpers and traitors one and all!

Some people prefer cupcakes. I, for one, care less for them...

It is a very partial vision of the matter, a few time ago the Serbian Patriarch (in a letter to Alexy II) said that they were not in communion with ROCOR and he didn't consider that ROCOR to be part of the Church, Bishop Gabriel also recently said that they were not in communion with the Serbs. As for JP, the Patriarch Theophilus few months ago said that no ROCOR clergyman can concelebrate with them until ROCOR will be in full communion with MP.

Dear Fr Nicholai..

Dear Katya,
Please forgive my wording causing confusion, this was not my intention.
In Christ,
Deacon Nikolai

And yet you chose not to correct the wording.....and so continue the misconception.

Katya
