Just don't tell the rest of us what to think; go to some other outfit that agrees with you and quit whining. And the on the day this is finalised, I expect the whiners/naysayers to shut up or leave.
I still don't understand why anyone w/o a dog in this fight (roac, etc...) are even commenting on what has been long overdue. Since both ROCOR and the MP are heretics, why should they even care??

I'm just so dang happy!!!!! :D

I am so sick of ROCOR people talking about how non-ROCOR people don't have a say in this or a concern. Do you think that you exist as a separate reality that does not affect the rest of Orthodoxy? I don't claim to speak for the ROCiE or the ROAC as I do not have any affiliations with this group, but as a Greek Old Calendarist it pains me greatly that instead of renewing ties with us, you seek to join to the ecumenists and fall into their heresy. From our point of view, you are not yet heretics but you are coming close. We are grieved and upset. So we comment. You don't have a right to chide us for caring, as what one Orthodox group affects another. ROCOR is not a tribe that has full rights to do whatever it wants, "Other Orthodox be damned!"

So is this site no longer for everyone? Is this site now just for ROAC?And since when are you the voice of the moderators of this site?

Milla...getting awfully fed up with jurisdiction bashing.

Well, but we SHOW to be more pluralistic than when this sites was called ROCOR Cafe, we here have members of many Jurisdictions (even "World Orthodoxy) and moderators not only of ROAC but even GOC and ROCiE.

On the other hand when this site was called ROCOR Cafe and began to come members of other jurisdictions, the ROCOR bishops (and many ROCOR members were bothered) for that diverse "groups" invaded "The ROCOR Club". Such it was that that the ROCOR bishops asked to remove the name "ROCOR".

Then for these facts we can demonstrate that we are more pluralistic than the ROCOR dictatorship.

Also even today the members of ROCOR here seem the less democratic and open to hear and to debate.

Dear Anastasios:

I agree totally with the whole of your post, I am also quite tired of the ROCOR narcissism.

Our concern like orthodox are to preserve the Orthodoxy and to alert our brother in danger, it doesn't care that these to be called ROCOR, ROCiE, GOC,FROC/ ROAC or as they want to call themselves.

With love and affection in Christ

Hey Peter!

I'm sorry but I don't give out personal info online anymore, due to some people having caused me problems before, etc. The next time you're on AIM I'd be happy to chat.

And that is correct.
I have followed this discussion for the months/years it has been on this board. While some have been more blatant in their accusations, it has been more than apparent that many posters have said the MP and ROCOR are heretics. Who was the one who previously posted with the signature, "The MP is Evil!"??? And you don't think that there is an implication in "Traditionalist" and "World Orthodoxy" forums???
The Moscow Patriarchate has done everything that ROCOR has required for reunification. Now there are some that are wanting more; and when they do that, there are some that will still want more. For them, it will never end. I was in NJ last October; 99% of the "anti" comments were not only off base, but were embarrassing. Everything they brought up had already been addressed; it was obvious that most of their comments had been rehearsed and repeated from Nyack.
What these other juristictions do is of no interest to me; nor should they be. Or should I spend my time obsessed with what the Romans or Baptists do??
Roac and company made their choice; if those against the reunification of the Russian Church wished, they could do the same. God bless 'em.

The only thing I have issue with is their attitude towards those of us--yes, the ones that have a stake. They left and its over; go on about your business--"cough, cough, paederatsy, cough, cough".
I make no apologies for my post; I do apologise if I was not clear and inadvertantly offended anyone.

And about that last paragraph...
If you're not sure what that means, research the history.
