The Whore upon many waters refers to corporate sin.
"Christ Jesus came into the World (Cosmos) to save sinners of whom I am chief. "
When "we" get together and sin as a people, terrible things happen. Corporate sins are built on the seven hilled city of the seven deadly sins. There is one whore upon many waters - and the mystery of its name is available in Holy Scripture to those who search the Scripture.
What happens on the inside of us eventually comes out of us, and causes all sorts of problems. Take for example America. Its Constitutional name is E'Pluribus Unum, Novus Ordo Seclorem. Literally naming itself a blasphemous name!
It 'called fire down from heaven,' and literally named it "trinity"- It destroyed a city on the feast of the Transfiguration and one two days later on the largest Christian church in Southeast Asia. Now it kills 3,000 Holy Innocents every day in abortion mills.
It seems insane, but when you view history through the Scripture, history unfolds that way and this wacky world is insane. These whores are one whore. Our evil actions, words and deeds combine in a devil's brew to create sinful nations and organizations - Legion. 'Why do the nations so furiously rage together, and why do the People imagine a vain thing; to break the bonds and chords that bind us to the Lord and to His Christ..." Bonds - love of God, chords love of neighbor. Burnt offerning and whole burnt offering.
The people didn't set out to create a wicked nation. But wickedness prevailed when we loved our stomachs more than our God. Yet the whore is also the Roman empire. Yet the Roman empire was eventually converted, so there is hope even for these organizations to bow to God so "that the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ." Holy Russia can become Holy again, masonic America can become Christian - love conquers all!
When we view these monsters, they are larger than life. But when we embrace Jesus, and ask forgiveness for all our sins, then we realize that God will get us through no matter how bad it gets. And that is the only thing that can keep us sane. Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord (the Church).
Love God and one another - even our enemies and those who hate us and spitefully use us. Bless and do not curse. But don't trust the whore or join with it. Rather, seek reconciliation with God in Church.
Know that "Christ Jesus came into the Universe to save sinners of whom I am chief" - so I cannot judge or hate even the most wicked people. Let God judge. If we allow the material world - the pigs to go, then we can search for spiritual refuge and answer God's call to come out of the whore. 'Give them anything they want just save your soul.'
We need to forgive and passively rake burning coals over the heads of our enemies if they will not accept our love (it will drive them nuts) - we Christians have the weapon of peace and the trophy of invincible.

My dearly beloved Orthodox Christians, Jacob was at a critical
point when had this dream. He had just obtained his lawful
birthright and now his double-crossing brother Esau sought to kill
him. Jacob had to flee to Syria.
Jacob was alone and friendless.
In the late winter of 1917, the Tzar, the Protector of the Orthodox
Church and Her Teachings, was also alone and friendless.
I hope that the holy Tzar Nicholas II thought of this story on his
lonely night in hell on March 15, 1917. The wretched MP designates
our holy Nicholas II with only the title "passion bearer." But we
who embrace the +ROCOR canonizations cleave to our beloved Tzar
Nicholas as "saint."

Though Jacob was friendless, his affairs were of great interest to
all of heaven. Everybody was "busy about Jacob" and his affairs of
monumental import!
And we too have "busyings" going on in heaven about our affairs of
monumental import. For everyone that is in the holy Orthodox Church
has their Lord standing above their ladder saying to each and every
one: "The land wheron thou liest.."
