If we are Christians- then where is the Body of Christ containing the Spirit and Truth in which we worship?- You'll find the answer to this throughout the New Testament- the Body of Christ is the Church.

I agree 100% - and and that exists in ALL professing Christians.

Between this and "God INSIDE YOU!!!!", you sound like an ecumenist quaker.

Well, I don't know about the Quaker part, but I am not about to say that anyone who professes Christ as their Lord and Savior and strives to follow His example is not saved.

I totally reject any idea that salvation is only through being a member of the Orthodox Church. Because then, which ONE?

TomΣ, you definitely need to better learn what the Church does teach before you "totally reject" anything.

I do know the Church's teaching on this. My statement still stands.

As for this: "I am not about to say that anyone who professes Christ as their Lord and Savior and strives to follow His example is not saved"-- I will not say that either because I am not God.

As for this: "I totally reject any idea that salvation is only through being a member of the Orthodox Church" -- I will not say that either because the Church has revealed otherwise, and if I were to say that it would make me a judge of the Church (in other words, God) and again, I am not God.

Sorry, Suaiden.
I also am in the GOAA as TomΣ is, and I have followed his supposed consistency of these fora. He is only consistent in his mis-understanding of The Church and his persistence in his Protestant positions.
I disagree with him and those who maintain that the GOAA agrees or teaches this 'many paths"-thing.
The furtherest I have ever read is the opinion that we Orthodox KNOW Salvation's path is found in the Church. Outside the Church (where Tom now lurks), we cannot state. Does part of the Truth suffice? Not our concern.
Tom needs to quit his tantrums and go be whatever he wants.
