Siluan:
I'm just curious......If your cause is just, why do you feel threatened by Vl. Alexander's actions?

P.S. While your English is understandable, it is far from correct.
But then we all make mistakes and we all are fallible.

Bp Alexander is an excellent bishop who has labored for years to provide material to his diocese in their language and to spread Orthodoxy in South America. Ifind these insinuations that he is a heretic or afraid or a bad bishop to be uncharitable and wrong given his track record of being an all-around good bishop.

I am foreign to English and I write correcly.
But of which disinformation you speak? I think that all in South America are very informed.
From what I've heard/seen, no, they are not. Compared to people on other cotenants, they are the ones who rarely take trips to Russia. They do not go to investigate the good works that go on there. They are very quick to accept propaganda. You can find a lot of things on the internet that seem to be the truth, and then when you meet the people behind it, they are totally weird & paranoid. For gosh sakes, a lot of the anti-MP groups in Russia want to canonize Rasputin & Igor Talkov & Ivan the Terrible!!! How can you rely on people like that? You have to investigate where this stuff comes from, and not believe it just because you want too. There is a lot I do not like about the MP, but I'm not about to abandon hope just because some long bearded guy who wants to sing "pripodobniy tsare Ioanne, moli Boga o nas!" say the MP is evil.
Siluan wrote:In any event He is misinformed.
That, my friend, I can tell you, he is not. Vl. Alexander is very proactive, despite his recent illness. He loves his flock, but due to ongoing treatment, he is unable to minister directly to them and must trust his priests, and is attempting to reassure them with these writings.
Siluan wrote:Most of His clergy here not is according with him and with "the union" with the Crypto-communist Patriarchate.
That I've known for a long time, & if I know, he most certainly is aware of this (one of the reasons behind these letters, quite obviously, trying to reassure them).
Siluan wrote:Will it be that you are also misinformed on this?
With news regarding ROCOR, I rarely am misinformed.
Siluan wrote:I refer to like they are really the things with regard to the "union"
I know they don't like it, I think if they would listen to Vladika, they might however understand it.
Siluan wrote:
I know well to that "Patriarchate", because I was novice (and almost monk of that "organization" until God illuminates myself)
I know a lot of people who were novices in a lot of places, and they stopped being novices for many reasons, are you now a novice somewhere else now that you've found the truth as you see it?... I hope you find happiness wherever you are.

PD: If the things were as true as V Alexander says. Why he is afraid?
I do not think he is afraid, his letter has a sense of urgency to it, but not fear. There is a difference. He is trying to prevent damage to his flock, I think that's pretty urgent.
If he is afraid, he is afraid that his flock will choose the wrong path. I think a bishop has full right to be afraid of that.
As having met Vl. Alexander, and having had him as a guest at my family's table many times, I can say that he is a good man, and wants the best for South America, and ROCOR. You seem to think that he is a power-hungry monster... It's a shame really.

DEAR BROTHERS AND FRIENDS,
I think, and is ONLY my thinking, that His Grace Alexander is not affraid for him, he is "rush" (as he say) for his flock, seeing the wolves around.
I too can see very clearly that all is not white as snow in the ROCOR, nor in the MP, but this is other bussines. Go out with the red herrings, there are not lieu for him in this.
I can testify that the russian clergy in the Argentine is very reluctant at the possibles approaches with Moscow. But, what if We instead of work in assist the diocesan clergy, have the bad aim of boycott him...?
If we have the foolish madness to introduce schismatic "priest" or "bishops", what can we attend?
Excuse me, but the only solution for this execrable situation, resides in our spiritual life, praying, praying, and again praying.
With Love,
Giorgos

Dear Anastasios:
I didn't say anything what you say that I said to Vl. Alexandre. And I don't consider him a heretic.
The speech of the Canonical violations of it Dewed and it attacks Bishop Anthony of being pseudo Bishop, but, he violates the canons when not living in his diosesis, but in Los Angeles.
And if he has been a great bishop, because his parishes are on the edge of disappearing? to have a good Website doesn't assure he is a good bishop.
Neither it is good to attack others in the way that the he makes it with it ROCiE (that is also not to have charity), and that the he makes is because is afraid.
On the other hand
PROSTITE MENIA GRESHNAGO
Forgive me to my sinner, if I have been rude.
PS: I invite them to all to come to my country to see that it is what is of the Orthodoxy in South America, they will see that it is lamentable. God may help us to reestablish it soon

DEAR BROTHER,
Is perhaps enough to you to know that Bishop Alexander work as Engineer in the NASA AND IS SEARCHING HIS RETIRE, for be an autofinanced bishop and not a charge for the flock?
Know you that Bishop Alexander has been in a bad health situation and his chemical treatment is in the USA?
Do you think that a "usurper" going to live in Buenos Aires is the legitime Bishop, because he is living here?
You know VERY WELL WHAT IS THE SITUATION OF VLADIKA ALEXANDER, BECAUSE DO YOU KNOW HIM, AND BECAUSE YOU HAS CO-WORKED WITH HIM.
Why, this attacks ad hominem, dear Silouan? Perhaps you must become a more balanced person. As th late Fr. Seraphim of Platina say "Craddle Orthodox have patience but lacks Zeal. Converts have Zeal but lacks patience. ZEAL WITH PATIENCE IS THE ROYAL PATH"
With LOVE,
GIORGOS

You obviously don't know the reason behind WHY Vladika lives in California, rather than South America. Why don't you e-mail him ( alexander_mileant@msn.com ) and ask?
Siluan wrote:And if he has been a great bishop, because his parishes are on the edge of disappearing? to have a good Website doesn't assure he is a good bishop.
My friend, Vl. Alexander has only been bishop of South America for a few years. I have heard from many people (who either reside in South America, or have immigrated from there to the US) that the parishes in South America have been faltering for a long time before that. If that is the case, then it is the fault of the priests, who are not correctly administrating to their flock, or drawing enough converts. Often successful parishes grow despite their bishops, rather than because of them.

I don't see him attacking, I see him as stating facts (he's a scientist by profession, he's a very factual guy).

Well, rather than lament, go out & do something about it. And I'll get down there sooner or later, I have several standing invitations...
