This is why flooding the country with non-Christians will never do us any good. People will say that we'll just convert them. Well, unfortunately, it seems about as likely to work in reverse, so that's no solution. And once the non-Christians are here and get established, its only a matter of time until their influence is felt in the area of public policy and that's when we lose. And as we have seen, Muslims and Jews obviously aren't interested in promoting Christianity. Why would they? They naturally want to spread their respective religion. They want America to reflect their values. And that's where we have a problem.

As I explained, there are satanists in the government, so worrying about non-Christians flooding the country is the least of our worries. Look at the country now...they celebrate Halloween and Santa Clause and the Easter bunny. I think the damage has been done. The muslims are not the threat. THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE.

For the record, I'm not talking about being opposed to foreigners who come here as tourists or temporary visitors. I mean as permanent citizens.

The Indians were the first citizens and look what happened to them. And who was the cause of it? The "white man", apparently Christian. I wrote about this in the other post too.

Let's look at the greater scope... we, as Orthodox Christians, should see ourselves as visitors here, in this world. Isn't our true home with God in His Holy Kingdom? This is a place where we are visiting, but we tend to forget that when we get so nationalistic about things.

I have a nationality of heritage and a place of birth, but none of that is important..only the fact that I am a worshipper of Jesus Christ and that one day I might be allowed in His Holy Kingdom; if I don't betray Him. I'm just a temporary visitor here.

God wants us all to be permanent citizens of His Holy Kingdom.

Brendan, just remind yourself that you are a citizen of God's Kingdom. The manipulations of the countries and governments can make your head spin. They are following their earthly leader, the leader that fell from the heavens. This is his territory. We are not part of that. We have another home.

Many of the saints have reminded us of this exact thing. So all I can add to this point is Amen.

Sorry, I don't accept that idea the way you are trying to apply it.

When I repose, then I'll forget about this world.
