Hundreds Held Hostage at Russian School
Well here again is the perfect example once more of americans who have been brainwashed by the left wing liberal news media. Islam is NOT the religion of peace. It is NOT inherently pursuant of virtue and good will. I went through a stage in my teens where I denied Christ and in fact READ the Qu'ran, rather than hear about it and it's virtues on TV, and I can say it is the worst corruption of God's supposed word I have ever come across. Oprah Winfrey can hold whatever little forum she wants with American Muslims preaching "Islam means PEACE" but when a book tells me God commands Muslims to cut off peoples hand and feet I don't see that as peaceful. Look at current events from a REALISTIC perspective, wherever there are Muslims there are problems. Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, America.
The sinful part of me hopes Putins drops a nuke on their entire disgusting state.
Господе Исусе Христа, Синe Божји, Помилуј ме грешну!
The god of the Moslems is a demon, not the God of the Christians, the true God. I know the Sufis, a moslem sect, preached tolerance etc..they were persecuted for this. I think they only exist today in hippy communes or their modern equivalent. Let's not hate Moslems, but please get real about Islam.

You know, I am utterly sickened by the unChristian and vile response I see in most of the posters on this forum, including one person saying part of her wished Putin would drop a nuke on the entire state.
I was horrified at the terrorist situation and appalled at the murder of the children. But that does not mean I think we should go and kill all Chechens and that Muslims are all evil. Anyone who can say something like that has obviously never been around Muslims for any extended period of time.
I on the other hand have in my travels to India and I find Muslims to be highly cultured, highly respectful, highly friendly, highly faithful people (although they picked the wrong faith and I tried every opportunity to work on my friends in India, with some success).
Do you guys think that all Muslims are Wahhabbis? Muslims who are terrorists are by and large the byproduct of Wahhabbi Islam, an ultra fanatical sect that originated in Saudi Arabia. It was only popular among Arabs for the most part until a few decades ago. Muslims in other countries--such as Albania, Chechnya, India, and Indonesia (the last two being the two largest Muslim countries, Pakistan actually having less Muslims than India in reality although not on official paper) are simply not naturally Wahhabbists. Mostly they are Shia Ismaelis, Twelver Shias, or Sufis. None of these sects are anything like the terrorists.
So the question comes up: why then is Islamic terrorism spreading to Kosovo, Chechnya, India, Afghanistan, etc, all places where there is no history of radical Islam? Answer: because the Saudi Wahhabbis are setting up madrasas (schools) all over the Muslim world as "charity efforts" and are spreading their sect of Islam wherever they go, which is being picked up by OTHER TYPES of Muslims WHO ARE POOR or who are in places like Chechnya, where the Russian army committed vile attrocities against Chechens in the first Chechen war.
The Russian army basically went into Chechnya (for legitimate reasons I believe--to stop a succession movement) but while there basically destroyed one of the two Chechen cities, Grozny, killing many civilians. It is because of this action that Chechens became RIPE for Wahhabbi fanatics who have money and influence. Why do you think that half of the school bombers were ARABS? It's because the terrorists needed their Wahhabbi Arab masters to fund and plan something that they have no experience in doing.
What is the solution then for us CHRISTIANS? 1) Not saying vicious things like "nuke their state": what about all the CHECHEN children that are innocent?! 2) Stop the US from funding Saudi Arabia through oil and aid 3) Encourage the Russian state to deal with minority populations in a better way 4) Pray for the conversion of the Chechen nation to Orthodoxy, etc. NOT VOICE AN INTEREST IN KILLING THEIR PEOPLE. Jesus Christ would not voice such sentiments.

I did not say my response about nuking the Chechens is Christian, in fact I know it's not. I am a sinner and that means I find it VERY hard not to hate them. First of all take my responses for these next two days with a grain of salt. I have been stuck in my house for the past several days and now there is water shin deep on my sidewalk. To top it off I am very pregnant so for any of you with such experience you realize my hormones are making me irritable to say the least. But...
I find that was a rather arrogant remark about never really being around Muslims. As you all surely know, I am of Serbian descent which means my family has been around them, unfortunately, for the last 600 years. A good book I suggest is the historical fiction titled "Bridge on the Drina" by Ivo Andric. It won the nobel peace prize for literature and could maybe help to give you a little background on Islam and help to demonstrate some of the fundamental differences between Ottoman Muslims and say, Indian Muslims.
ANyway, so you have been India. Have you ever been to Kosovo? Have you ever seen women married off at age 13 only to be beaten and kept behind courtyard walls and painted windows their ENTIRE life? In case you haven't read the Qu'ran, "Allah" commands men to first deny women sexually if they disobey and then he gives them (men) permission to beat them. I considered becoming a Muslim at one time in my life, so I have done the research; read, studied, and BEEN around them. They are far from what I think any rational person would call cultured or highly respectful.
Christ told men to love their wives like He loves the church,
Muhammad told men to beat them if they disobey.
(If you want the Surah where this is mentioned I will find it at a later time.)
I never said all Muslims are Wahhabis. Muslims is Bosnia and Hercegovina are not. In fact they are not even good Muslims-most drink, eat pork, and do not pray at home or in the dzamija (mosque). Other than being circumcised and having Muslim names they display few outward signs that they are Muslim. However, it was not Saudi mujahedin that first fired shots at Serbs coming out of church from a wedding in Bosnia back in 1992 (starting the civil war there), but good old Yugoslav Muslims under their fanantical Islamist leader Alija Izetbegovic.
The people in Hercegovina that knocked on my teenage husbands door, put him in a prison camp where he was beaten, starved, tortured and forced to dig trenches and mass graves for almost two years were not Arabs or fanatical madrasa students, but regular old Muslims that he had lived with, played with, ate with and went to school with for the first sixteen years of his life. Yes Orthodox Serbs and Papist Croatians later committed many attrocities, offensively and defensively-that is war.
But the fundamental difference here between religions (christianity versus Islam) is this-ISLAM preaches hate, violence: conquering, converting, or dismembering your enemy, and many other evil things, all in the name of God. It is an evil, disgusting religion and it's followers who adhere to it's beliefs are therefore inherently bad. When I made the remark about hating the Chechen Muslims and wishing to anihilate their state (no, it's not acountry in my eyes) a little message goes off in my head that says "that's wrong"..."love thy neighbor". I KNOW IT'S NOT THE RIGHT THING TO THINK. Muslims however, if they are "good" Muslims, don't have the little angel on one shoulder telling them this is bad, because their religion dictates that God is a God of hate and war. Argue all you want-read the Qu'ran and other "holy" books. It is amazing that all of the sudden after 9/11, we have all these Muslims on TV telling us jihad is a euphimism(spelling) for a "spiritual struggle" etc. when it has been interpreted entirely differently for the past 1000+ years. How do they interpret cutting off of the infidel's right hand and left foot? I am dying to find out.
Also Wahhabbi Allah warriors are not the only people encouraging these fanatical Muslims around the world. Again Anastasios have you been to a war zone where Christians and Muslims are fighting? Or are you getting your facts from NPR? I have several member of my immediate family who were in hand to hand combat against Muslims, and as much of their funding comes from Iranian SHIA Muslim organizations as it does Arab Wahhabbists. Do you know Iran had jannisary organiziations is Bosnia and Hercegovina that ransomed Serb heads for a specified amount Deutsch marks? Did you know their clerics would bribe Muslim women to wear head coverings and dimije (a harem pant type getup) rather than the mini skirts and pants they were used to under communism? Go to Sarajevo today...see the new mosques built and Orthodox churches that have been converted mosques, downtown there is a new Islamic cultural center and orphanage raising a new breed of Muslim fanatics. It's not Saudi oil money, but direct from Iran-the Shia capital of the world.
How exactly do you propose, Anastsios, that Russia should deal with these Muslim degenerates in "a better way"? Give them what they want after they kill our women and children?
WAKE UP AND SMELL THE TURKISH COFFEE. :ohvey:

Tessa,
I forgot you were pregnant, and I did not know you are having problems with flooding. If I had known that I would not have gotten as offended.
Your post made me want to say a lot of things back, but it is in everyone's best interest that I don't, because I easily loose my temper.
I won't be able to smell the Turkish coffee though because I don't drink coffee and my wife only drinks Nescafe
