No no no. Midnight to midnight is a very Orthodox way of measuring time. You have to understand the Church as having both Roman heritage, which measure days from midnight to midnight, and Jewish heritage, which measured days from sunset to sunset. Both are used for different purposes.

Thanks for the clarification.

Oh, how I do wish the resisting Church were more unified, but that's ok I suppose. The GOC of Cyprus, eh? I'll have to check them out too.

I know Fr. Seraphim Rose commended all of the GOCs and so that is what I will do... at least on certain points.

Hello to all my Orthodox brothers and sisters. I'm a recent convert to Holy Orthodoxy, and am now in the ROCOR jurisdiction (thanks be to God).
