Cui bono ?

This Latin phrase is often used in English, so that no translation is found in Google Translate.

For those who do not know Latin, Spanish, French, or Italian (all Romance Languages), it translates: "Who is good?"

Whether there is life on other planets depends on these two questions:

  1. Did the Lord want to create life on other planets? If yes, He did.
  2. If no, He did not.

... cui bono ... really means "WHO BENEFITS ?" Or "For whose benefit ?"
That is often a primary consideration when authorities are calculating which party may have been the doer of some deed.
