Encyclical for the all-glorious Resurrection of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ

From a Tomb the Great Sun Has Shown Forth
"Let us not sleep, but let us watch and be sober." [1]

Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ and Children in the Risen Lord:
"Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead!" [2]
Let us thank and glorify the heavenly Father, Who, through His infinite compassion, has given us new birth into the life of Grace, through the Resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Chrsit, and Who has granted us the vivid hope that we, being united with Him, will be resurrected.
Today, with the Resurrection of our Lord, our holy Church, the New Jerusalem, shines forth and is radiant with the uncreated rays of Divine Light.
"Shine, shine, O New Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord hath risen upon Thee.
