Usually I don't laugh at parodies of Orthodoxy (I guess I'm just too sensitive because of genuine attacks), but I have to admit that that article was very funny.

I just read the guestbook and it seems Fr. Peter Jackson is not very happy about the latest episode. :shock:

However, let me tell you I have heard the ninth tone. At World Youth Day, a Ukrainian Catholic group from California's shorn cantor led plainchant in a speedy tone that was quite unappealing to the ears. Her previous choir leader expericence appeared to be from a Black Baptist Church. We immediately claimed it as tone 9, the unknown tone that no one wants to know. :ohvey:
