Welcome aboard!
Dear Michael,
Welcome to the forum. I am just now getting to reading your many posts! As much as you have posted I guess you like it here. I am glad But what do you mean by "None of the above". What other option was there that was not listed?
the other option...
none of the above-that is, dont do any of those things and simply stay home and avoid going insane....

yeh i do like it-much much much better than ANY of the lists...
if the synod joined the mp tomorrow...
would i stay home and do reader's services? i dont know....maybe just stay home. at this particular point, i am unfortunately rather disturbed about very many thinigs going on. i do not appreciate the way that pro-mp clergy of the church abroad treats people who ask questions on the various internet lists-i never knew that simply asking a question merited character assassination and insults. i also simply do not buy the current party line that "nothing has changed," nor do i care at all for the "shut your mouth and do what your told" attitude. there are other things going on in rocor i would not publicly post, but they too disturb me greatly.
beng a convert, i was always heard great praise for "our bishops, our bishops, our bishops." now that i am sort of disenchanted about many things, i am being told the opposite by many people-it doesnt matter who the bishop is; dont pay any attention to the bishop(s); just go to church, who cares about that stuff; with the end conclusion being: who cares what happens, dont pay any attention, stay in your own little world. sorry-cant do it! many of the things i am concerned about can be issues that are wider than simply the russian church abroad. someone ask about how do we explain all the differences in orthodoxy to seekers? that is a good question-because in many respects, looking at orthodoxy, it goes from the crazy, to the ridiculous, to the goofy, to the downright bizarre, when you sort of step back and look at many of the things going on. waiting to see what the next bizarre development will be is not interesting for very long...
at this time, also however, i am not making any etched in stone decisions that i will do "this," or will not do "that." so, guess i will have to wait and see what happens, as well as how it happens.
