Sorry - there is nothing worse than American-centric people - !!! I know the British also heartily think that !

No, as it says under my username I am formerly of the Alexandrian Patriarchate itself, which operates in Africa. Eish is just a South African term with no exact English equivalent. As in, "Eish, now I have to choose another username."
