McClatchy’s acquisition bring the California media chain’s total to 30 newspapers in 14 states, including seven in the Carolinas. McClatchy owns The News & Observer in Raleigh.
Oh ! The Idaho Statesman - no wonder I saw these McClatchy advertisements and labels on the paper's online videos.
I was wondering about that !
Hmm, maybe that's why - if funded by Sore-at-us-normal-people - the Statesman always trumpets the slightest case of 'discrimination' against homosexuals. The paper always stands up for them as though they are precious pieces of china where the rest of the population - the vast, vast majority - needs to be reverent toward these 'brave pioneers'. I haven't liked some of the headlines i have seen in this regard.
Glad you have put the McClatchy buyout into perspective, Maria. I agree, it sounds like an anti-trust violation.
I do remember when they were based in Sacramento and were a respectable news service.
Indeed, very scary. It appears as if McC has been totally bought out and is now part of the FAKE MEDIA, which includes the alphabetical soup: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, MSNBC, Buzzfed, etc.
