I wouldn't believe what this this Russian gossip rag says, it doesn't even have the name of the author as far as I can tell. I would liken it to People magazine or one of those other supermarket tabloids.

Both sides are wrong and should not be supported by the Orthodox.
Hence the protest by Bp Sofrony, Dionisiy, Irineus, 15 priests and numerous faithful in Russia against Agafangel's unreserved support of Ukranian goverment.

This is an open letter written yesterday by three ROCOR(A) priests to Met Agafangel. Originally publish in the blog of Fr.Sergey Kondakov.
In the end of the third paragraph the fathers openly challenge Agafangel on the issue of his previous involvement with communist movement.
While we should rejoys in Michael Pashkovsky conversion from militant communist ideology to the Orthodoxy, it is truly tragic that ex-komsomolets was allowed to become the First Higherarch.
