Was is decent about ethnic culture such as dancing (Greek, Russian, etc...) could come very useful for an orthodox Christian. Because, these traditions that are nations have, can keep is from falling into severe sin. I.e.: God didn't condemn dancing right? Even Saint Prophet David said in his psalms, praise the Lord in hymn and dance.
But the modern generation of youth who are being introduced in the true Faith, and tradition, at the same can actually make the have psychological conflicts with themselves. (By experience) Why? Well someone can wonder, why do we need these traditions, they don't involve anything with the afterlife and eternity. But if you actually think about it, the traditions revolved around our Orthodox Faith. I think, if someone has a direct mind to Christ that understands His love, and does not put ethnical tradition before Christ, it is a good foundation on how ethnical tradition relies on Faith, no? Anyone's opinion?
