If humor and laughter weren't good for us....God would not have invented it... We all need to give and receive the gift of laughter.
We,all, have had some experience within Orthodoxy that we love to tell and re-tell....they are the cement stones of our belief, our "medals of honor" !!!!!!
How sad we would be if we couldn't laugh at ourselves!!!

laughing and humor is not a problem.
but sometimes humor goes over limits.
I'm sorry, but mockery of Christ would that be funny?
As we see it and witness today, what is the number one mocked at religion on tv and in movies?
yes our own experiences is not the same. I understand.
I have plenty of stories to tell from my altar boy days too.
one thing is when you publish it opennly for the world to see, and the other saying it from ear to ear.
this is a stamp. doesn't erase.
again, I see no problem and just perhaps a small little pinch.
