Losing weight - Share programs that work

Post by Maria »

This program by Dr. Susan Pierce Thompson, Ph.D. looks very promising.

And best of all, it is free.

Dr. Thompson offers hope for those who seem hopelessly addictive to foods with her Bright Line Diet. She developed this program after successfully losing many pounds and keeping those pounds off. There are five parts to this program. First, there is a quiz that will show your susceptibility to food cravings on a scale of one to ten, a score of ten shows the most susceptibility to food craving and binge eating.

http://foodfreedomquiz.com/

Then she follows that quiz with four videos. Apparently, these videos will be taken down on Friday, September 30, 2016.

Take the quiz and then another link will pop up with the first video.
At the top of each video will be the links to the rest of the videos.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Today, Dr. Susan Pierce Thompson, Ph.D. presented a webinar that might help thousands or millions of people. While she was a tenured professor, she taught the Psychology of Eating for 13 years.

Eliminating flour and sugar (sugar is eight times more addictive than cocaine) can not only help in losing weight, reversing diabetes, and controlling alcoholism, but also can help drug and porn addicts. There is a connection between lust, gluttony, intemperance, and greed as all are cravings.

Some alcoholic prevention centers are already using this information and have established rules or Bright Line Rules that prohibit the use of any alcohol, sugar, and flour on the program. Fasting permanently from all types of flour (all grain and legume flours) and all types of sugars (white sugar, brown sugar, organic cane sugar, beet sugar, agave, honey, maple, dates, raisins, stevia, apple sauce, fruit juice, sodas, artificial, and other natural sugars) will rewire the brain addiction center, so that a person can be set free from greed, sexual immorality, intemperance, and gluttony. Whole fruits are good for us, but processed fruits in the form of juices, apple sauce, and purees act like sugar in the body and give an immediate glucose spike.

Since just one violation of these dietary rules can cause a serious setback that may take six months or even a couple of years to bring back under control, we need to be aware of our friends and relatives and their struggles as offering them a cake on their birthday may tempt them in ways that we cannot image. We need to be open and kind with each other, and not be so quick to judge or label.

My personal note: Holy Communion is different as it has become the Body and Blood of Christ.

Registration for her online boot camp to learn and practice Bright Line Eating costs $997.
However, this registration fee includes more than $1200 worth of free bonuses plus the costs of the online boot camp.
So, it is well worth the cost.

This registration will close on Friday, September 30, 2016, with the boot camp beginning on Monday, October 3, 2016.
This is a lot of money, but of 100 people who attended the prior boot camps, 57 percent got to their stated goal weight, and 90 percent of those 57 percent have kept the weight off and are still thin years later. Dr. Susan does offer hope and relief from the continuing spiral of obesity and medical complications due to obesity and type 2 diabetes. This is the last boot camp of 2016.

Eating is an addiction, just as difficult, or even more difficult to overcome as sugar, alcohol, sex, and cocaine.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Here is another weight loss program sponsored by a doctor. http://ketosummit.com/video-page-eric-westman/

Dr. Eric Westman is an associate professor of medicine and the director of Duke Lifestyle Medicine Clinic. He is certified in alternative medicine and obesity medicine and he also has a Master’s degree in clinical research.

In this interview, Dr. Westman discusses his success in treating obese patients, why carbs are the first place to start, and much more.

In this interview, Dr Westman talks about:
  • Why there’s still such a phobia of cholesterol and fats.
Dr. Westman’s simple approach to obesity, and why it works so well.
Whack-a-Mole and why most people hit weight-loss plateaus.
How even some low-carb foods can be trigger-foods for weight gain.

In another video, which I can no longer find, there was a gentleman who had tried all diets and still could not lose the weight.

He and others have done extensive research, and they have found that wild strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, pomegranates, cranberries, red grapes, walnuts, pecans, have a compound called ellagic acid that has a wonderful effect on the body in helping people shed pounds naturally.

Here are some great websites and articles that discuss ellagic acid.

http://www.xoomaworldwide.com/content/p ... thBeat.pdf -- this is a wonderful six page article written by doctors.

NOTE: I do not recommend webmd.com as they are part of the Military-Industrial-Pharmaceutical-Chemical Complex and push drugs rather than natural remedies.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Interesting about the ellagic acid. Probably it has nutritional benefits as well. I was finding myself drawn to eating pecans not too long ago. Pecans are not easy to find in a healthy, organic type. Maybe this ingredient is pivotal in other things as well ?

Pomegranates are fabulous, too. Surely they have something in them which scrub out toxins from the system, which is my goal.

These 2 are linked, anyway. I have always felt that stored up toxins in the system are responsible for people's inability to shed pounds. Thus the REAL GOAL is to cleanse out the system, which takes more work than any diet program !

A possible book to read would be "You're Not Fat, You're Toxic". I haven't read it because I suggested it for my local library, thinking it would benefit many, and then I could skim through it for new insights. I am sure it is excellent, but I can't say myself as the library did not order it.
I would recommend anyone interested in dieting and understanding food and health read it. The author is Stephanie Relfe of Australia.

I looked it up just now and found these pithy remarks at the book's own website, yourenotfatyouretoxic.com :

"The government subsidizes toxic and addicting foods. Then the food mafia processes those foods into junk food that makes you fat and sick. Then the medical mafia sells you drugs so that you won’t know how sick you are, and they receive $2.2 Trillion.

"Then the $60 Billion dollar per year diet mafia tells you it’s your fault for not “counting calories”.

"You have been taught what to eat, what to drink and how to think for over 50 years. You have been brainwashed into being a slave of the corporations by the schools, books, magazines and television shows. It’s a horrible, vicious project that was planned to make you sick and overweight."

I looked at the foodquiz link. But she has a popup which demands one's email before allowing one to take the quiz. So I ignored it, as I thought that seemed to indicate too aggressive marketing. Those prices are awful. Maria, are you sure she's not part of the "diet mafia" ?!

I guess if her ideas and programs work, people are more than happy to spend any amount to see results.
