Great Lent Homilies - Holy Fathers

Post by joasia »

Hello Fellow Members,

I've been trying to search on the web for homilies of the Holy Fathers on the spiritual benefits of Great Lent, but I can't seem to find any. I've searched my website favorites, but what I'm looking for is an explanation about Great Lent as a whole. I know I've read them somewhere, but now when I want to find it, I can't. I don't remember which holy fathers I've read that wrote about it. Could anyone give me a link, please? I want to send it to a friend who still does not fast during this time. I'm looking for the Greek Holy Fathers because the names would be familiar to her (she's Greek).

In Christ,
Joanna

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)
