Christological controversies

Post by demetrios karaolanis »

I have just really delved more deeply into the texts of the ecumenical councils, and synods and more. I understand of course the beliefs and ideas shown there, but does anyone know a good place to get a good chart of the heresies, controversies and doctrines in a neat visual form? :? please post links if you have any as I am sort of a visual learner sometimes.

I know this is an old topic (November), but since I am interested in it, and no one else posted a reply, I thought I would respond.

The following link is excellent:

I don't know about charts and stuff, but the articles there are very good.

They are real eye openers, too.

You're welcome.

Used with discretion, the Catholic Encyclopedia can also be a good source.

Here is its article on the Monophysites, for example.

You can get to the rest of it from there.
