"Archbishop Dorotheos of Athens Said..."

Post by Isaakos »

Do any of my Greek speaking friends know where the primary source for this extract is located? The Holy Metropolis of Oropos and Phyle website has several documents with this extract as a heading. I would love to know what else he said in that speech or interview. Did other Archbishops of Greece consider the Old Calendarists as simply Orthodox?

"The Old Calendar Movement is neither a heresy nor a schism, and those who follow it are neither heretics nor schismatics, but are Orthodox Christians".
-Archbishop Dorotheos of Athens, Orthodox Church of Greece, 1956-

Where is this from?

Blessed is the man who has volunteered to hold and keep until the end of his life our holy Orthodox faith, the faith of the one Church of Christ and our mother, the Catholic and Apostolic Church.

Archbishop Matthew Karpathakis
