From the Indiana list, a very worthwhile idea!

Subject: A Plea for Action -- on January 22nd...

On January 22nd, our nation will observe the grievous 34th anniversary of that ungodly Supreme Court decision that has given legal status to abortion, the slaughter of God’s most precious and innocent human beings! Those who receive our publication have noted that our main January 2007 article is on the subject matter (recently posted on our web site as well):

http://members.cox.net/orthodoxheritage ... 202007.htm

We also advised our readers that they consider become involved with the only organized Orthodox effort in the pro-life battle, “Orthodox Christian for Life.” As Fr. Alexandros Agonistes indicated:

“…every Orthodox parish and diocese must establish a local chapter of Orthodox Christians for life—today. Their website is: http://www.oclife.org, and mailing address: P.O. Box 805 – Melville, NY 11747, USA. They have prepared an outstanding handbook on abortion, euthanasia, and stem-cell research that every Orthodox bishop and priest needs to read.”

In line with this, we strongly encourage our readers who reside near Washington DC, to seriously consider participating in the annual March for Life. Orthodox faithful will be assembling with the presence of Metropolitan Herman (OCA) on the Mall in Washington, DC on January 22, 2007 at 12 Noon to participate in this important annual event. It is important that the Orthodox faithful become involved in this serious matter and, most important, all of us must demand the active involvement and participation of all or our clergy and hierarchs.

If any efforts take place in the respected local areas, Orthodox faithful should consider it a moral obligation (and blessing) to participate accordingly. None of us have ANY excuses, and the blood of God’s slaughtered children demands it!

For the Brotherhood of St. POIMEN the Great,
