Is Francis the Worst Pope Ever?

Post by d9popov »

The popes of Rome have been outside the true Orthodox Catholic Church for many centuries. But the current pope of Rome, Francis (Jorge Mario Bergoglio), has been especially disastrous for western civilization. He has allied himself with atheists, with others who are anti-Christian, with the extreme cultural left, and even with cultural Marxists. He has clearly weakened the stance of his church on such basic issues as "You shall not commit murder" and "You shall not commit adultery/fornication." His stance on abortion is not a coherent stance at all. He condemns abortion, yet he reduces it in importance by equating the abortion issue with the issue of migration (mostly from the poorer south to the richer north). Surely, authentic Christians must agree on "You shall not commit murder through abortion," whereas authentic Christians will have various contradictory preferred policies when it comes to immigration from south to north.

Cardinal Dolan of New York (after a delay of decades) now has started to oppose the extreme pro-death tendencies of the Democratic Party in the United States. Below I include a polemic on that issue from Michael Voris, the head of a conservative Roman Catholic media organization called Church Militant / Saint Michael's Media. Voris makes many, many excellent points, that are historically accurate and that Orthodox Christians should be able to agree on. I am posting this on the "Religious, Moral, and Ethical Topics" section because it is relevant to those topics, and also because I no not have access to the private "Political" forum. Voris's comments on the Democratic Party also apply, in part, to parts of the Republican Party as well. However, the Republican Party platform does take the correct Orthodox Christian position that the civil authorities --- in their duty to try to deter murder, rape, and other crimes against people --- has a duty to try to protect innocent life from murder through abortion. For a Christian, the first purpose of government is to deter and punish murder; and, for a Christian, abortion is a clear form of murder. Many Orthodox Christians believe that it is the "worst sin" in our modern, decadent culture. It is certainly worse than disagreeing with the pope on the minutiae of immigration policy. In fact, the pope's view on immigration is also incoherent because he decries security fences, whereas he himself has a high wall surrounding Vatican City. This pope is truly opposed to Christian morality and common (logical) sense on issues like abortion, immigration, and many other issues. People like Cardinal Dolan, and even more, people like Pope Francis are doing untold damage to our already-decadent culture in the modern west.

This pope and his un-Christian tendencies need to be exposed and opposed by Christians everywhere and by decent citizens in the West and elsewhere! I believe that Bergoglio, by his effect on the culture, is the worst pope ever. Too bad people like Voris will criticize people like Dolan, but will not hold the pope to the same standards. Traditional "Catholics" need to shed their papolatry and oppose the anti-Christianity of Francis. Even better, they should join Christ's true Catholic Church, the traditional Orthodox Church, which keeps the dogmas of the Ecumenical Councils without deviation.

TRANSCRIPT

The old saying goes, "Politics makes strange bedfellows." Well, that certainly proved to be the case a few days back when one of the bedfellows actually got out of the bed. Cardinal Timothy Dolan, having done everything he could for the better part of his time in New York to kiss up to the ruling elites of the Democratic Party — the purveyors of abortion and sodomy, of the destruction of the family, the very ones who keep Planned Parenthood and its evils legal and financed — those same Democrats, Dolan dumped on for leaving Catholics behind. As one commenter put it, "Well, good morning sunshine! Are you seriously only realizing this now?" — an excellent comment for not only its straightforwardness but also its insight.

That the cardinal archbishop of New York would, just the other week, be arriving at this conclusion is stupefying. Where on earth has he been for the past 45 years? Near the end of his op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, he says, "The party that once embraced Catholics, now slams the door on us." Seriously? Now? Now, slams the door on us? Wasn't the cardinal party to a federal lawsuit with the Obama administration forcing Catholic agencies to dispense and pay for birth control? Did he not read the suit? Is he unaware that it is Dems who are called the party of death? Does he not know that they are the main reason Planned Parenthood gets half a billion dollars of taxpayer money every year?

The Democrats have been anti-God, anti-Catholic, anti-life since about the time Dolan was ordained. Was he so married to nostalgic thoughts of his grandmother, who he mentions in the article as saying, "Don't trust Republicans" that it has taken him his entire adult life to know who the enemy is? Well, now's a fine time to be finding it out. And let's be clear here, the enemy is the anti-God, anti-life philosophy embraced by the Democratic Party. You would figure he sort of got that when he got booed by delegates for leading the prayer at the Democratic Party Convention in 2012. How could someone be so obtuse in his sizing up of the realities of the day — cultural and political life in America?

He seems genuinely stunned that the Democrats are pro-abortion, mentioning a soon-to-be law in New York state expanding abortion even more, even to the point of it being legal to leave alone a baby which survives abortion, just laying on the table to die. Shocker! Really? The party of death is in favor of death? Say it isn't so, Your Eminence. It's hard to imagine a more tone-deaf perception of political and cultural reality.

His Eminence cites Protestant minister "without a congregation" the Reverend Jesse Jackson. By the way, just exactly how does he make his money to live on? He doesn't actually do anything, hasn’t for decades, but we digress. Dolan cites him as an example of a Democrat who used to be pro-life. On that score, former pro-lifers turned child killers, Dolan could speak all day — Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, the list just goes on and on. In fact, it's very interesting that the cardinal should point to Jesse Jackson because the question naturally arises when he turned in favor of child murder did His Eminence wonder about his Democratic, poor-loving, protecting-the-innocent credentials? How about when Al Gore "converted" or Ted Kennedy, a Catholic no less, who completely savaged Judge Robert Bork, specifically over the issue of abortion?

One by one, these leaders of the Democratic Party flipped to being in favor of child slaughter so they could hold onto their political power — modern-day Herods with the blood of tens of millions of children on their hands and the vast majority of them, the lion's share, Democrats. This went on all through the 1970s and 1980s. How is it that practically every Catholic with a pulse knew that the Democratic Party had become completely alien to its former Catholic base yet Dolan and a large number of other bishops were completely clueless about it?

The sea change among the Democrats from supposedly caring about the downtrodden to actually killing them was so phenomenal, so visible, so plain for the whole world to see that it split American politics to this day. Yet, somehow the bishops couldn't get a grasp on it. It's preposterous to think as His Eminence asserts that only now — his word — now is he and presumably others just coming to recognize this. Where have you been for what is essentially your entire adult life? That the Democrats have been opposed to Catholic morality on the single most important issue of our day has been the axis on which the totality of the political and culture wars have orbited for half a century. Did he not notice that good Catholic, pro-lifer Bob Casey, governor of Pennsylvania, was not allowed to address Bill Clinton's 1992 Democratic Party Convention, specifically owing to his pro-life views? It's mind-boggling, so much so that it would take a fool to believe that this is only news now.

What's changed is not the reality but that Dolan is having to come to terms with the fact that he got played and not just played but made an absolute fool of by not just Democrats but fake Catholic Democrats in the person of Andrew Cuomo and his cohort. He made a secret backroom deal with those devils to not oppose homosexual marriage in exchange for Catholic school funding. So, he gladly supported the moral evil of active homosexuality and homosexual marriage in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, even parading around in the front of it as grand marshal. How the Democrats must have been howling with delight at that sight. But then after casting the pearls of the Church before swine, they ground them up and turned on him, first, by not giving him his 30 pieces of silver for his schools and now ramming through the state legislature a bill to extend the statute of limitations on how long someone can sue the Church for homosexual-clergy-sex abuse. That so infuriated Dolan that he actually made a surprise, unannounced visit to Albany to beg lawmakers not to extend it, begging the question, how many more claims are out there which the cardinal knows or suspects? The whole scene is pathetic really with a lesson to be learned.

The U.S. hierarchy has been played for too long precisely because the players knew which levers to pull — appeals to their egos for power, influence, cocktail party invitations, with all the chichi — even kicking it up every now and then? "Be a prelate of the people, Your Eminence," the Democrats said, "Don't be preachy. Care for the poor. Be social justice warriors. We'll back you," until that is the facade of social justice and blather about caring for the poor is no longer needed and the Democrats have engineered education and the culture to ensure that they are the ones who will get enough votes to steer the ship of America. And they've done it quite well by making suckers out Catholic leaders who have been all too willing to be manipulated, rationalizing that it's all good, and we are helping the poor by getting Democrats elected.

How they managed to keep convincing themselves of that, year after year, as each year a million child corpses flushed through the city sewers under their cathedrals and parishes is a question that will probably only be answered on the Last Day. ....

Re: Is Francis the Worst Pope Ever?

Post by d9popov »

Pope Francis mixes a few good points with an unrelenting campaign of slander against those who want to maintain past, conservative Christian teachings --- and slander against those who oppose his dishonest campaign to accomplish a revolution at the same time that he falsely claims that doctrine is not being changed. The saddest point is that "conservatives" are not returning to ancient, traditional Orthodoxy, but are stuck on pre-Vatican II Latin innovations that they mistakenly believe go back to ancient Catholic Christianity. So, although Cardinal Burke and the other "Dubia cardinals," along with Michael Voris, "LIfeSiteNews,"and "The Remnant," make several valid points against this pope's relativism and semi-Marxism, they are also far from Patristic Orthodoxy. I pray that more of these "traditional Catholics" will realize that the popes have not been genuinely Catholic for hundreds of years. Many God enlighten them.

Although not perfect, the two articles that are excerpted below may be worth reading in their entirety. The left-wing MSM (mainstream media) does not give people a balanced view about the significant and often-very-articulate opposition to this pope's revolutionary deceptions. John Paul II is obviously not a saint, as he was a proponent of the anti-Orthodox innovations of the medieval Latin Church, of Vatican I, and even of Vatican II liberalism. But compared to John Paul II, Francis is so much worse. He does show his true colors as a Marxist-influenced liberal-authoritarian who is vicious to those who are tradition-minded. In addition to the articles excerpted here, more info can be found in the books "Political Pope" and "Dictator Pope," which have a lot of information of these issues.

Even more, we need a good traditional-Orthodox-Christian critique of the leftism and moral relativism of Begogolio's new apostolic exhortation "Gaudete at Exsultate." It is horrible, especially because its moral relativism is partially hidden behind a mixture of Christian and cultural Marxist rhetoric that many people may not detect as semi-Marxist propaganda (mixed in with a tiny bit of pro-Jihad rhetoric as well).

Lastly, allow me to say that there no need for traditional Orthodox Christians to fixate on conspiracy theories when the revolution is an OPEN AGENDA preached Urbi et Orbi by the present apostate pope (and supported by Bartholomew as well).

<<Gaudete et Exsultate is exactly what we have come to expect from this drearily predictable pontificate. To quote Carl Olsen in Catholic World Report: “many good qualities and substantive passages… often overshadowed, or even undermined, by straw men, dubious arguments, and cheap shots.” Bergoglian pronouncements in general are precisely vehicles for the delivery of straw men, dubious arguments and cheap shots, all invariably directed against orthodoxy and orthopraxy. Expressions of piety are wrapped around crass ecclesiastical demagoguery, a velvet glove for the clenched fist of militant humility so typical of the boorish cant of leftist Latin American clerics. The document’s call for a living relationship with God animated by charity is belied by its repeated descent into the uncharitable caricature and outright calumny of those members of the faithful Bergoglio perceives as impediments to his maniacal designs.>> --- https://web.archive.org/web/20180412203 ... -the-march

<<Writing this morning that abortion and issues like immigration have moral equivalence, Pope Francis deviated from a principle his predecessors have taught for centuries: abortion is today’s most pressing and grave human rights abuse.Pope Francis wrote in this in his new apostolic exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate (“Rejoice and Be Glad”), wherein he decried the understanding of migration as an issue “secondary” to “‘grave’ bioethical questions.” Throughout the history of the Church, popes have strongly denounced abortion as a very serious sin and outlined what the Church’s response to it ought to be. The suggestion that stopping the murder of innocent human babies is just as important as helping the “situation of migrants” differs from previous papal teachings, in which popes like St. John Paul II asserted that the right to life is the most basic and primary of all.>> -- https://web.archive.org/web/20180412204 ... n-rights-i

This whole quote is very good. I just highlighted the points I wanted to add commentary to.

  1. So there is a TradCat bogeyman by the name of Father Hans Kung of Switzerland who was ordained in the 1950s and was a Peritus, or theologian for a bishop, at the Second Vatican Council; he was a, and is a, hardened Modernist. Anyways he has authored several books, but two of which I would like to recommend: The Catholic Church: A Short History (2003); and, Can We Save The Catholic Church (2014).

What I'm getting at is that Pope Bergoglio is just one Pope in a very long line of Popes who were simply poor wretched human men in terms of sexual morality and theological hubris. The RCC and its glorified appendaged malignant tumor known as the Papacy seems to just keep reinventing itself every few centuries. Just take, for example, the Avignon Papacy when there were Popes reigning for 67 years in France after the French monarchy took it from Rome because the last Pope, Pope Boniface VIII of Unam Sanctam infamy, wanted not only spiritual power over France but also temporal power over the French state.

Also take the period immediately after this, namely the Great Western Schism, where for 39 years there were up to 3 concurrently reigning Popes. The event that pretty much helped bring the predicament to closure is known as the Council of Constance and was actually called for by one of the Popes now considered as one of the last anti-Popes, namely Pope John XXIII, when, later in the 20th century had his name borrowed by Angelo Roncalli and this latter person is actually now a saint in the annals of the RCC.

What the TradCats refer to as the Tridentine Mass, which gets its name from the Council of Trent and is of the 16th century, and its period known as the Counter-Reformation which existed after the council and ended at the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, and where TradCats actually wish they could enter a DeLorean and travel back to, came about after the period known as the Renaissance Papacy.

This period was sandwiched between the aforementioned Council of Constance and the Protestant Reformation and it saw even more sexually active Popes. The well known defector from this period, Father Martin Luther, lived in a world where simony, that is the peddling of ecclesial offices and indulgences, and Papal nepotism was rife. There were Popes like the one who called for the Council of Trent, Pope Paul III, who raised one of his own teenage grandsons to the rank of Cardinal.

  1. That's Michael Voris, affectionately known as a pseudo-traditionalist to sedevacantists, who will use his microphone to disparage everyone in the RCC hierarchy except the one religious office that runs the entire show: the Papacy.

  2. TradCats, whether SSPX or Sedevacantists and even the Feeneyites, cannot see what I wrote in the first section. They think everything before 1958 was very pretty and good. They look at history with rosy glasses. They are in a bubble.

I frequently ask myself why there aren't more traditional Roman Catholics joining traditional Orthodoxy, especially now that Francis has exposed to the entire world how modernist and leftist the RC church has become. People like Michael Voris talk about liberal cardinals going to hell, but Voris seems unwilling to stand up to the pope when the pope has reportedly (several times) denied the doctrine of hell altogether. The SSPX and Lafevre have never had a totally consistent stance on the papacy. And some sedevacantists (like the Dimond brothers) still receive communion from Eastern Rite priests in communion with the pope. All of these people seem unaware that the true "Catholic" faith is the patristic consensus, not what favorite popes from favorite eras may have said. All of these people seem to put their own preferred version of papalism ahead of Christ and the ancient patristic consensus. They may oppose the modernism of Vatican II or at least of Francis, but they do not really know what true Orthodox Catholic Church authority is: Christ and the consensus of the saints. Many, also, know only of very liberal "Orthodox," and they are ignorant of genuine Orthodoxy. For example, almost all of these people feel morally superior (as Latin Catholics) because they think that they uphold the so-called "absolute indissolubility of marriage" and (they claim) they are the only ones who uphold the words of Christ; and (they claim) all Orthodox have departed from the words of Christ. They frequently quote the truncated version of Christ's words and they often ignore the fuller version in Matthew which says: no divorce "except for reason of immorality" (παρεκτὸς λόγου πορνείας). RC Bibles sometimes mistranslate this as "unless the marriage is unlawful" and then they "annul" valid marriages of many years' (or decades') duration for flimsy reasons such as "mental immaturity." This is often done for rich or politically connected families such as the Kennedys. Annulments are often much more sinful than many divorces. The RC practice of annulments is full of hypocrisy and dishonesty, but these traditional Catholics are too indoctrinated in Latinism and too ignorant of Church history to see that genuine Orthodox is the truth and the answer. Maybe, after all is said and done, they love the traditions of (Latin) men, more than they love God and truth. I still think there are some good people among them who would want to be genuinely Orthodox Catholic, but the mass movement to Orthodoxy has not happened (yet).

MARXISM IS NOT DEAD, AND POPE FRANCIS IS A COLLABORATOR

"Without Karl Marx there would be no Catholic social teaching" --- Cardinal Reinhard Marx, 2018

May 1 and May 5 often bring pro-violence Marxists out onto the streets once again for another year. As of 2018, we see the pope and some cardinals more and more in a partial alliance with Marxists, Gramscian Marxists, cultural Marxists, and semi-Marxists. Some of the demonstrators in London today openly bragged that they were Stalinists and Maoists. Stalin and Mao were two out of the three top mass murderers in human history! The pope shares with these extremists a desire to weaken traditional Christian moral influences on society, for example, on sexual ethics, on the right to life, and on Muslim immigration.

Historically, the Roman Catholic Church has condemned socialism---because it saw the various socialist ideologies as rivals. But that does not mean that Roman Catholicism has not been influenced by various socialisms or has not allied itself with socialisms. It has. Dostoevsky saw the affinity long ago. Fascist and semi-fascist movements combined elements from right-wing ("conservative") Roman Catholicism and from Marxism and other socialist or left-wing ideologies. This occurred in Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Nazi Germany, and Latin America, to varying degrees. The fascist Croatian Ustasha party was the most explicitly anti-Orthodox of these movements. That party's goal was to kill one-third, ethnically cleanse one-third, and forcibly convert one-third of the Orthodox Christians on the territory the Ustasha claimed (all of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and part of Serbia). The forcible conversion would be from Orthodox Christianity to a pro-fascist Croatian version of Roman Catholicism. However, it was in all those other countries mentioned above where one could find a bizarre mix of Marxist and Latin Catholic elements that was completely foreign to traditional Orthodox Christianity.

Just as we Orthodox Christians know (with Aleksei Khomyakov) that Roman Catholicism and Protestantism are not exact opposites, but are something like opposite sides of the same coin; so also we know that Marxism and Nazism, and even Marxism and Roman Catholicism, are not exact opposites.

Pope Francis (Jorge Mario Bergoglio) comes from an area, Latin America, that has been plagued by semi-fascist and semi-Marxist movements---all on top of a cultural environment based on Latin (Latino) Roman Catholic culture. Sometimes in such an environment it is hard to tell the right-wingers from the left-wingers. The left and the right clearly recruit from the same people; and the same people often switch sides between the violent "right" and the violent "left." Underlying this culture is the culture of papal absolutism that goes back to the schism of the eleventh century and the Gregorian reformation. Hans Kung, despite his extreme liberalism, supports the Eastern Orthodox view of western history that the crucial change was the new papal absolutism of the eleventh and twelfth centuries.

Today, Dostoevsky's prophecies about an alliance between authoritarian papism and authoritarian socialism are coming more and more true---especially with the left-wing-Jesuit pope Francis, and with left-wing-cardinals such as Reinhard Marx. We also have the added element of accommodations to the sexual revolution that are advocated by papal advisers such as Francesco Coccopalmerio, Antonio Spadaro, and James Martin. The revolutionary movement is towards more sexual libertinism and more authoritarian socialism, and towards less traditional Christian influence on society, and towards more Muslim immigration into Christian nations.

Today, many people correctly perceive that (1) the continuing revolution is being supported by Francis, but (2) Francis hides the extent to which he supports left-wing changes to his church and to western culture overall. Often, Francis's true agenda can be found, at least partially, in the more openly-and-honestly-left-wing cardinals that he supports. See the latest report on Cardinal Marx, by Michael Chapman, below. The article is a useful critique, but Chapman is wrong if he thinks that the papacy has been consistently anti-Marxist. Andrew Greeley, the sociologist and celibate Roman priest who wrote erotic novels, was correct long ago when he wrote that Roman Catholic "social doctrine" and pronouncements on economic issues were clearly influenced by (1) ignorance about capitalist economics and (2) Marxist ideology. So, although Pope Francis and Cardinal Marx are becoming more open in their partial alliance with Marxism, it is incorrect to say that this is entirely new.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople and Metropolitan John Zizioulas of Pergamum have allied themselves with Pope Francis on several issues, including praise for the the radical changes of Vatican II and a one-sided environmentalism that copies left-wing and neo-pagan rhetoric. The new calendarist Archbishop Hieronymos of Athens even allied himself with Francis and Bartholomew on an increase in Muslim immigration into Christian nations. It is this Muslim immigration that is bringing increased terrorism, murder, rape, assault, and other crimes, and more anti-Christian ideological pressure, into Christian nations. The increased terrorist Islamist murders and violent sexual assaults in the West are the direct result of the immigration policies advocated by Francis, Bartholomew, and Hieronymos. They are supporting the rape of Christian culture, spiritually and physically. In these churchmen we see a bizarre hodgepodge that is influenced by dictatorial fascism, cultural Marxism, sexual libertinism, and accommodations to Muslim desires to change Christian nations.

So, May 1 (International Workers Day) and May 5 (Marx's Birthday) are not reasons to celebrate. Rather, they are days to remember the victims of Marxism, fascist authoritarianism, the sexual revolution, and Islamism. Marxism, fascism, and sexual revolution (though abortion and AIDS) have killed tens of millions of people in the twentieth century alone. Islamism enslaved tens of millions of people over the past 14 centuries. Today, there is an alliance between left-of-center politicians, the pope, and the ecumenical patriarch to make accommodations to (and even to collaborate with) the forces of Islamic expansion into Christian nations, Marxist-influenced "social justice" ideologies, the sexual revolution, and a fascist-like authoritarianism that censors traditional Christian views. The violence of Rotherham, Cologne, San Bernardino, Orlando, Berkeley (Antifa), Rinkeby ("Swedish" Muslims), Paris, and even London (Islamists, Stalinists, and Maoists on May 1) are signs of what may await our grandchildren more generally in formerly Christian nations. Our children and grandchildren will face an actual dystopia, if Christians and secular patriots do not speak out.

Adviser to Pope Francis Praises Karl Marx, Claims No Link to Communist Atrocities

By Michael W. Chapman | May 1, 2018 | 1:44 PM EDT

Cardinal Reinhard Marx, head of the German Bishop's Conference and among the nine closest advisers to Pope Francis, applauded the teachings of Communist Karl Marx, whose 200th birthday occurs on May 5, claiming that the Communist Manifesto "impressed" him, helped to shape Catholic social doctrine, and was in no way responsible for the Communist atrocities and class-genocide committed by Marx's followers over the last 100-plus years. Marxist regimes, starting with the Soviet Union in 1917 and Red China in 1949, have killed more than 100 million people worldwide for political and class reasons, all justified on the teachings of Karl Marx (1818-1883) and his co-author and financial backer Friederich Engels (1820-1895). The Catholic Church has repeatedly condemned Communism, with one of the earliest denunciations pronounced by Pope Pius IX in 1849. Despite the Catholic Church's teaching against Communism, a utopian scheme that was Karl Marx's sole objective in life, Cardinal Reinhard Marx told the magazine Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszitung, as translated and reported in Katholisch.de, that the Communist Manifesto "impressed" him and that "without Karl Marx there would be no Catholic social teaching." The German cardinal criticized capitalism, claiming there are "enormous social inequalities and ecological damage that capitalist dynamics are answerable to," and adding that any improvements are "not an achievement of capitalism but the result of a struggle against these excesses." Communist China and the predominantly socialist India are two of the most polluted countries in the world, according to the World Health Organization; the United States and Western Europe are among the least polluted nations in the world. Thanks to Karl Marx, said the Cardinal, the world knows that the "market is not as innocent as it appears in the textbook of economists, behind which are powerful interests." As for the Communist atrocities and class-genocide committed by Karl Marx's disciples, such as Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro, Cardinal Marx told the magazine that there was no "direct connection" between Karl Marx and those crimes. There is "totalitarian" thought in Marx's work, but you can't draw a clear line from Marx to the Gulag, said the cardinal, as reported in Katholisch.de. As for Karl Marx's May 5 birthday, Cardinal Reinhard Marx said there was no reason for him "as a Catholic bishop" to celebrate it, but it is something "we should commemorate." In his 1937 encyclical letter "On Atheistic Communism," Pope Pius XI said, "See to it, Venerable Brethren, that the Faithful do not allow themselves to be deceived! Communism is intrinsically wrong, and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever. "Those who permit themselves to be deceived into lending their aid towards the triumph of Communism in their own country, will be the first to fall victims of their error. And the greater the antiquity and grandeur of the Christian civilization in the regions where Communism successfully penetrates, so much more devastating will be the hatred displayed by the godless" (https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w- ... atrocities).
