Pope Francis suggests change to the Lord's Prayer

Post by Justice »

Pope Francis has suggested a revision to the Lord's Prayer, specifically this one verse that he says has been translated badly through the generations.

"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one". According to Francis, God doesn't lead people into temptation as this is what the Devil does. Therefore he wishes to correctly modify the prayer.

I have moved this topic to Religious, Moral, and Ethical Topics because Roman Catholic and Protestant issues do not belong in the subforum for World Orthodoxy and Vagante Synods.
