On another note, notice the heterodox painting these ROAC women are carrying during the procession. This should be stopped immediately.

It is likely that the priest did not even see what the women were carrying, as some of the faithful probably bring favorite icons which they have had at home. Many of these Latin icons are kept in the home because they had a dear relative who was a Roman Catholic who in turn gifted or willed these icons to them.

Also realize that almost all the world orthodox churches in Los Angeles had Latin icons in their churches. Only within the past ten to twenty years have most of these icons been removed and replaced due to the outcry of inquirers who questioned these very Latin icons. The reason why these Latin icons were installed was due to pre-Vatican II Eastern Catholic or Latin Catholic iconographers who were hired by these world orthodox parishes.

Note also that the Eastern Catholics had been heavily Latinized before Vatican II. After Vatican II, these Eastern Catholics were told to return to their Eastern Orthodox heritage. So much disinformation was circulated by Catholic bishops, such as the notorious Cardinal Mahony, that some parishes in Los Angeles told their Eastern Catholic parishioners to join the local Eastern Orthodox Churches, which they did because many of the Roman Catholic parishes thought that the Eastern Catholics were heretics.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

I have to add, that these Eastern Catholics were not only urged to join the Roman Catholic Church through baptism and confirmation even though they were already baptized and confirmed in the Eastern Catholic Churches, but also their babies could not receive communion in the Roman Catholic Church until they were seven years or older. That was too much to ask. And this is why these Eastern Catholics joined the Holy Orthodox Church as they did not want their babies to be excommunicated and cry because they were being denied communion.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
