Can unbaptized members wear a cross?

Post by Justice »

I want to buy a cross but I was worried that I might not be able to wear one until i'm baptized. Is this a rule?

Oh no. Go right ahead and buy yourself a beautiful cross and start wearing it as soon as you get it home !
Why ? Because the Cross defends us against the Devil.
The Devil will fight you in order to stop your progress on the True Orthodox path.
This is a good countermeasure which will keep you much safer in this difficult time.
You said your mother was opposing you, which is obviously a stressful situation.
Other people or obstacles may pop up too : these are nuisances caused by evil spirits deliberately.
Watch your feet, literally ! They may try to trip you up by making you stumble.
