Are Icons of St Joseph and Jesus ok?
Iv'e heard that many consider the pictures of St Joseph the Betrothed holding Christ to be wrong, is this allowed or taught in the Orthodox church?

Ah, please do share. Did your sources quote any church fathers or iconographers?

St. Joseph the Betrothed raised Jesus as an apprentice in carpentry from the time he was a boy, Jesus also wept over his grave when he died. Not to mention he's depicted holding Jesus on his shoulders in a fatherly type way.

No I don't know of any writings that speak about this certain icon.
