The STOC under Bishop Akakije - Where are they going?

Post by Barbara »

I am surprised to hear that there is any significant continuing presence of the "Kallinkan" faction.
Does anyone have any recent updates about this subject ?
I assumed that nearly all had gone with Bp Akakije ;
and even those who may have hesitated at the moment would have joined him later.

So the Kallinkans only have some laity and .. a priest or two ?

I am really glad about the new STOC Bishop, too.
[I have been away for awhile. Has there been coverage here ?]

I was just looking the blog website today, and it seems
semi-offical. Perhaps STOC needs to make it clear exactly how official
the blog actually is.
As for the other, it sounds like they are not organized enough at this point to
have an online presence ?

Translation: The Holy Synod discussed the petition of repetance and reconciliation of a group of clergymen and laity from Serbia, who had previously abandoned our Church since 2011, and determined the ways for resolving the dissensions between the Serbian GOC.

So, it's official. Bp. Akakios finally returns.

Has the other bishop in the STOC (in union with the RTOC) also joined the GOC under Archbishop Kallinikos?

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

In fact, the name of Akakios is not quoted in the document. Who is this group of clergymen?

Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.
