Apparently, it was accidentally started by a gardener.
Again, please pray as the temperatures here are above 80 degrees F and the dry winds have increased the chances of brush fires.

The exact number of homes impacted was not immediately known although 17 streets have been evacuated. That number was increased from eight streets which were initially ordered to evacuate.
The second fire is in Van Nuys off the I-405 (part of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles).
This is a grass fire that has closed the I-405 freeway in that area.

The Monrovia fire abuts the Angeles National Forest.
Mt. Wilson sits on top with all the sensitive radio and TV communications.
This fire continues to burn out of control and has now consumed 150 acres.
The Van Nuys fire also continues to burn out of control with a lot of homes and businesses in that area.
Water dropping helicopters have been brought in.
Of course, the air is becoming smoke-laden, and eyes are burning.
