Recentl both parties have decided to enter in communion as reflected in this site. Archbishop Sophrony (Musienko) from Russia is also with them.

NO !! What a shock !!!
This is really terrible news.

I am surprised to see Fr Sergey Klestov as part of this new endeavor.

The announcement - I decline to call it a communique - states at the end that a 'joint archbishop service' will take place in the future.

How can this be when Bishop Stefan is only a Bishop and there is no clergyman of that rank in his breakaway group from Archbishop Tikhon of Omsk ? If Sophrony [Musienko] and Andronik [Kotliaroff] serve together somewhere, how will Bishop Stefan be included if he can not easily travel far ? I guess this former Archbishop Sophrony will happily travel to the US to foment further trouble -
.

Bishop Stefan posted the same statement on his website, rocor-trenton.
