New Book by K. Preobrazhensky

Post by Barbara »

I haven't read it since the new publication, released only this very week, is only on 'kindle'.
The topic is quite different than the former KGB Lt-Col.'s exposes of KGB activity in 'catching' Rocor for the MP, and émigré problems in America.
Konstantin Preobrazhensky and his son write here about a cultural phenomenon, that of women from the RF and its former satellites who marry American men. Promises to be interesting, but I can not say anything specifically except that the book takes a very dim view of feminism.

If anyone reads it, please leave a review either here or at Amazon. Then this could be moved into the Book Review section. I didn't want to put this post there yet in case no one reviews it !

Apologies for the long delay : I got stuck due to some questions which still have not been resolved concerning the book's material.

Meanwhile, the author has been interviewed about it and political and other topics by a man named Joel Gilbert for the Alex Jones program. During the interview, Alex Jones interrupts with praise for Konstantin and is clearly impressed to host this conservative Russian emigre on his show.

Note: Joel Gilbert produced a documentary called "There's No Place Like Utopia" in 2014. For this film exposing the previous president and his destructive socialist agenda throughout the nation, the filmmaker interviewed Konstantin on camera. This video is, Gilbert points out frequently, available from the Infowars online store. [ I got it a couple of years ago at a library. I think by now it's available at least in part for free on youtube, though that needs checking. ]

Likely from this association sprung the coveted Alex Jones appearance.

Below is the video interview of K. Preobrazhensky by Gilbert on the Infowars program. It begins around 14 minutes and goes on for half an hour or so. I am not sure of the numbers, because I didn't see all of it ; only the part concerning the book. Thus, I can not say whether I agree with the rest of his commentary on various topics. For those interested in seeing Konstantin speak briefly about his and his son George's book, The American Man's Guide to Russian Women, here is the clip :

Why is this topic of interest to us here beyond general informational purposes ? Konstantin wrote strongly against the 2007 union of Rocor with the MP, exposing much of the truth behind that unfortunate venture in a series of articles. Not long after, he was ordained as a reader in the ROCA jurisdiction. Here is the photo from the report : [Pashkovsky]

The Most Unusual Reader in all of the anti-MP jurisdictions : ex-Lt-Col. K Preobrazhensky, left, with Metropolitan Agafangel [Pashkovsky] of Odessa after ordination as a reader in the ROCA Washington DC parish, May 2009

Behind Met Agafangel's left shoulder is the celebrated Icon by Old Rocor Iconographer Archimandrite Cyprian of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia. Highly appropriate for today, which is the Sunday of All Saints of Russia, 2018
