Saint Xenia's story reminds me a bit of the life of Saint Markella. And there are many other holy women saints who were martyred by the very men who thought they loved them, but it was only physical infatuation. Are there any other outstanding stories of women martyrs like this that you know of?

What camera are you using to take those photos, Father?

I am using my phone. Hah! The pictures really could be better. It's hard to get good light as most times I am painting at night. Modern bulbs are actually strobes that the eye doesn't pick up, but the camera does for that millisecond, hence yellow or orange light.
