I have split out this new thread for those who want to commission an icon from Father Photios.

My apologies for the one topic being over taken. I have PM'd the inquirer.

Truly, if the procession of the Holy Spirit from the Father is perfect, then that from the Son is superfluous.

Saint Xenia's story reminds me a bit of the life of Saint Markella. And there are many other holy women saints who were martyred by the very men who thought they loved them, but it was only physical infatuation. Are there any other outstanding stories of women martyrs like this that you know of?

It would be best to have a separate thread for each saint.

The icon of St. Xenia of Kalamata is really progressing nicely.
The photos taken by Father Photios are simply awesome.
What camera are you using to take those photos, Father?

I am using my phone. Hah! The pictures really could be better. It's hard to get good light as most times I am painting at night. Modern bulbs are actually strobes that the eye doesn't pick up, but the camera does for that millisecond, hence yellow or orange light.

It's kind of you to say, though. /\
