is this Port Arthur Texas? sorry I cant help you there, But I do know that the Mother of God appeared in the 17th century to a peasant indian kid in mexico and the catholic Priest didnt believe him, and neither did the Bishops, this was a simple peasant who wasnt catholic and probally the reason why the Priest and Bishop didnt believe him, because him and his people didnt convert forcefully by the crusaders from spain...
she appeard to him for 3 days and all she wanted was a chapel built for them to pray at, she this peasant bod Juan diego to go to the crusaders to help him build this and they wouldnt believe him, on the third day she gave the peasant proof to show the priest , the Mother of God gave him a extremely fragrant and colorful rose, he felt unworthy to touch it and pulled up his robe type outfit and let it fall in there, and ran to the priests and told them he had proof from the Mother of God, and when he let his robe fall to display the rose, that rose had turned into atleast a dozen different colored roses from blue,to green,to red,to white,to gold and silver and to the amazament of everybody there, her image had been somehow painted on the indians robe-the priests fell to their knees and from that day, the Roman church has said she appeared to them, when in fact she appeared to the non-converted peasant people
and her icon on the robe still exists today and is named the Tilpac ,which is the small town next to guadalupe ,mexico a bigger city and where the Mother of God appeared to the peasant and it is still displayed in a cathedral in Mexico city,Mexico...scientists have been allowed to look at this icon and they have in writing said that the ink or color used is of an origin or material never before discovered by this human race.
she has healed many,many people and her shrine has a huge extra room where the faithful have brought her their crutches,wheelchairs,cains,watches,chains,wedding rings,photos,pony tails(hair),eye glasses and so much more things that The mother of God has healed people everywhere...The Mother of God is usually called by the Hispanic people as their protector NUESTRA SENORA LA MADRE DE DIOS Y VIRGEN DE GUADALUPE...its story is very familiar as not to far the famous pyramids are which rise up so high they are only visions of half of them because of the low clouds and smog, but at these pyramids the indians made blood sacrifices to the sun God, and those indians were mysteriously vanished from this earth.if Orthodox wouldve come into mexico it to wouldve thrived, but the crusaders instead came and forced themselves on these good people who only seeked GOD and nothing else...
